Abstract

278,629. Middleton, A., and Davidson, J. M. May 30, 1927. Casements of wood or metal are adapted to be reversed by mounting the sashes on hinges, the leaves A of which are attached to the sash rails by means of hinged plates D, and on guide - pins E adapted to engage grooves F in the sill and lintel. The grooves F are partly circular, having the pivot of the hinge for centre and partly linear. The pins E are carried by corner plates screwed to the sash. The sash is held open by the usual stay engaging a hook G.
