Windscreens.-Bodies which are applicable to all land, air, and water vehicles are provided with one or more movable panels divided into sections longitudinally of the vehicle and adapted to be raised from recesses in the side walls whereby the vehicle may be an open, closed or partly closed one at will. As shown, two panels, divided longitudinally into sections 1, 7 and 2, 8 respectively, are housed in recesses 3 in the side walls of the vehicle, and the sections are adapted to be rotated into position by hand, or by a handle 4 operating ratchets and pawls, to form a hood. When the sections 1, 2 only are raised, a panel may be raised from a recess 6 behind the driver's seat to enclose completely the rear seats. This panel may be lowered when the front sections 7, 8 are also raised. The sections may be partially raised to form side screens.
