Abstract

Buckets; reciprocating-cylinder pumps; suction reservoirs.-A grease gun comprises a grease container a in which a piston b is adapted to be moved by means of a screwed rod &c. c. A hollow plunger h of relatively small diameter slides in a gland q on the container or an extension f, and carries at its discharge end a non-return valve j. A non-return valve r may be arranged between the container and the extension f. The grease is forced by the piston b into the extension f, and when the end i of the plunger h is applied to a nipple and the gun is pressed towards it, the grease passes through a hole p into the plunger and through the valve j to the nipple.
