519,512. Lubricating pumps. WESTWOOD, A. E. Jan. 10, 1939, No. 765. [Class 102 (i)] [Also in Group XVII] An oil can has a pump comprising a valved cylinder 7 reciprocated in a valved piston 4 by a lever 9 the stroke of which is limited by an adjustable stop 17 carried by a band 11. In order to deliver one drop at a time the cylinder is of small diameter and the nozzle 5 has a tapered outlet 23 and spring loaded valve 19 to retain the nozzle full of oil and prevent drip. The stops 17 may be mounted on the lever 9.
