Abstract
236,425. Judelson, J. Oct. 4, 1924. Air, heating; forced ventilation.-A drying chamber is formed with hollow walls and is divided by partitions 2, 3 into pairs of separate compartments, each pair of compartments being provided with a heater comprising a longitudinal casing which is divided by a central partition into main flues 6 containing burners 7 and communicating through openings 17, 17<1> with return flues 16 arranged above them and through a pipe 14 with an exhaust stack 13 within the drying chamber. Air passes through the gauze screens 25, 23 in the drying chamber and the flues respectively and circulates in the flues without contacting with the air in the drying chamber. Moisture laden air is withdrawn from the compartments through the perforations in the box 10 by the draught in the stack.
