Cylinder machines; inking-apparatus.-A continuous revolution printing-machine, in which the take-off device d and delivery table a are arranged in front of the impression cylinder b, is constructed with a shallow inking-apparatus arrnged under the parts a, d, the ink-duct f being arranged directly under the table a, so that an operator standing at the front of the machine can operate the regulating screws f<1> of the duct while standing in a position to watch the printed sheets readily. The bed is constructed without an ink-distributing table, and the forme l is inked by rollers x supplied from the duct-roller f by intermediate rollers and a travelling roller v moving over a fixed distributing table t, the roller v being operated by a fork g actuated by the reciprocating bed. In a modification, the rollers x are supplied by intermediate distributing rollers, the table t being dispensed with. The construction is adapted to produce a machine as short as possible for the length of printing-forme.
