225,606. White, A. E., (Bucyrus Co.). Aug. 30, 1923. Excavating.-A heavy portable machine for excavating, &c. has an endless track engaged by idler wheels 18, guide wheels 44, and driving wheels 25. The frame comprises longitudinals 1, end bars 2, and transverse bars 3, 4 and supports a turntable casting 7. The guide wheels 44 are mounted on stub axles 43 carried by brackets 41 secured by tie-bolts 13 which pass through the turntable 7. Specification 226,852 is referred to.
