200,927. Siemens Bros. & Co., Ltd., and Gordon, A. April 22, 1922. Relays.-In a Wheatstone receiver the printing magnet comprises a yoke 33 to which are screwed pole-pieces carrying the coils 36, 37 between which is the armature 39. A horse-shoe magnet 38 is mounted with one limb in contact with the central portion of the yoke. The armature 39, which carries the extension 43 and also cooperates with fixed contacts 40, 41 in a local circuit for controlling, say, a sounder, or re-transmitting, is pivoted to the extremity of the other limb of magnet 38. The yoke is adjustable with respect to the magnet, being urged in one direction by a spring 47 but movable against the spring by a screwed rod 44.
