Abstract

1919. Bencker, C. Jan. 24 Stoppers; emptying bottles &c.-Relates to a stopper for bottles &c. containing pungent liquids, such as essence of vinegar. The cork, rubber, or other stopper b is perforated to receive the two tubes c, one of which serves for pouring out the liquid, and the other for the admission of air. The tubes are bent at the top, as shown, notches d being formed in the neck to receive the bent ends. The ends of the tubes are protected from the entrance of impurities &c. by the rubber cap e, which fits over the stopper and neck.
