Abstract

15,879. Dwyer, J. B. Aug. 3. Stoppers ; refilling, preventing.-Relates to bottles which cannot be refilled after having been once emptied. The mouth of the bottle is formed to receive a screw or other stopper B, which is cemented or otherwise fixed in position after the bottle has been filled. The bottle is emptied through the tortuous passage E, F formed in the projection D on the side of the neck, the shape of this passage preventing liquid from being introduced through it. In the form shown in Fig. 3, the outlet E<1> from the neck is surrounded by a flange e, which projects into the passage E.
