Concrete fencing; fencing posts; gates and gateposts; ground anchoring- devices. - Relates to reinforced-concrete fencing, and consists in a construction comprising posts 1, fence sections 7, and gates 6 whereof the normal horizontal reinforcing members are extended so that they project as lugs 8 that may be employed as hinge members for the pivoting-pins 10 of the gates, or as stops. The posts are secured by insertion of their lower tapering ends in concrete anchor boxes 2 having flat bases 3, and strengthening wings 4 of which the tops are flush with the upper part of the box so as to form a support for a step slab 5, cast as shown with three curves upon its upward face. The lugs upon the gates. and sections may also be used as retaining members for the gate latches.
