Abstract
20,409. Tebbutt, C. G. Sept. 13. Fencing; gateposts.- Reinforcedconcrete posts for fencing and gates are provided with metal sleeves or tubes, inserted during moulding, through which bolts &c. may be passed, or into which wooden plugs may be driven. The tubes may be circular, square, or oblong in section, and may be provided with plain or corrugated wings B, Fig. 1, through which hooks D pass to engage the reinforcing- members E. To allow the hinges of gateposts to be adjusted, the tubes are made longer than necessary, the hinges are secured in place by nuts, and the spaces are filled up with wood.
