Abstract

145,260. Leytens, M. June 24, 1919. Springs, arrangement of.-A tractor and trailer are so constructed for coupling that when the vertical plane of the front axle of the trailer is brought into coincidence with that of the rear axle of the tractor, the latter takes the load of the former and the front wheels of the trailer are automatically raised off the ground. The tractor frame is in two portions pivoted together at 8 and maintained in alinement by springs 9 secured to the rear part and connected with the front part by shackles.
