Classes 103(v) and 108(ii) A towing attachment for road vehicles comprises a triangular chassis 1, 2, 3 having at its apex a towing hitch 12 for coupling to the towing vehicle and having its base 3 mounted through springs 4 upon an axle 9 supported on two wheels 15, the base of the chassis having a ball joint 14 for coupling to the tow bar of the trailer vehicle. Shock absorbers 11 are connected between the axle and chassis.
