Abstract

136,391. Wilkie, J. B., and Rae, G. H. Feb. 24, 1919. Adjusting and connecting centrally-pivoted axles.-The travelling wheels of a crane are carried in pivotally-mounted forks 6 swivelled together for steering by means of longitudinal shafts 9 and worm gear 7. Each shaft 9 may be independently rotated by a handle at 12, or the two shafts may be coupled together by a transverse shaft 13 operated by a hand-wheel 16.
