Abstract

1295831 Stillage bins ALLIANCE BOX CO Ltd 5 Nov 1969 [6 Aug 1968] 37502/68 Headings B8H and B8P A disposable stillage bin is assembled from four sections which form a composite base consisting of overlapping extension pieces (8, Fig. 1) or 20, 24, Fig. 11, and four side walls 1-4, two of which 1 and 3 are reinforced by battens 6, Fig. 2 or 22, Fig. 11, and two of which 2 and 4 include horizontal creases 9 about which door panels 10 can fold downwardly and outwardly. The door panels 10 may include further horizontal creases enabling the panels 10 to be doubly folded. Stillage feet are secured to protruding portions of the battens 6 and the bin of the embodiment shown in Fig. 11 may be placed unsecured on a pallet. Vertical creases 25 in the walls 2 and 4 of the embodiment shown in Fig. 11 allow the bin to be collapsed. The bin may be provided with a separate tray-like lid (5,
