Abstract

989,517. Collapsible post pallets. COMPAGNIE MAROCAINE DES CARTONS & PAPIERS. Dec. 5, 1962 [Dec. 20, 1961], No. 46017/62. Headings B8H and B8P. A foldable metallic framework for transporting cardboard boxes comprises a base frame 1, formed by four angle irons, and four uprights 2 hinged to the base, the angles of the frame being reinforced by plates 7 which also support the uprights in their erected position. A removable upper frame 3 is constituted by four angle irons assembled about gussets 4 with triangular slots therein permitting the engagement and passage of the uprights. The lower frame is provided with stiffeners 5 and feet or V-shaped troughlike supports 6 for stacking and for the use of a lifting device. The upper frame comprises a locking system assuring locking of the assembly and avoiding crushing of the boxes. The V- shaped supports 6 lodge in trough-like abutments formed on the upper frame to facilitate stacking.
