Abstract

1279631 Moulded boxes DEUTSCHE FIBRIT GESELLSCHAFT EBERS & DR MULLER mbH 8 Sept 1969 [6 June 1968] 26892/68 Heading B8P A box blank of moulded wood fibre has a central base 10 and side and end walls 12, 14 folded up from the base, there being reinforcing posts 18 formed at the corners by triangular indentations moulded into the side and end walls. An indentation 20 at each corner of the base forms an abutment for the indentations 18. The box is erected manually or automatically and the corners are held together by an adhesive, by stapling, or by clips. The base may be strengthened by ribs. The cut-away portions at the top of the sides provides ventilation when the boxes are stacked. A hinged lid may be provided.
