Abstract

1479857 Boxes SOC ITALIANA RESINE SIR SpA 16 May 1975 [30 May 1974] 20866/75 Heading B8P A plastics container comprises a base (Fig. 1) formed with feet 1a-1i of truncated pyramid form and having reinforcing ridges 2a-2d, and four side wall (Figs. 3 (not shown) and 5) having reinforcing ridges (10), (12), (13), 30, 33, 34, 35, 36, tabs for location in apertures 3 of the base; and tabs (11) 31 for interengagement with tabs (11), 31 on the adjacent side wall panels, a cover panel, Fig. 6 (not shown), also being provided with reinforcing ridges (20) and apertures (21) for engagement with tabs on the side walls. The plastics material is preferably a heat-cured urea or phenolic resin reinforced with wood chips, container capacity may range from ¢-3 m.<SP>3</SP>, and the panels may be apertured to save weight and material. Fork lift means may be inserted between the feet 1a-1i below the container.
