Abstract
1281696 Aerosols for photographic use D JOHNSON 25 March 1970 [27 Dec 1968] 61531/68 Heading C4X [Also in Division G2] Anaerosolcontainerforprocessingphotographic films and prints contains a propellant such as propane or butane and a photographic processing solution such as a black-and-white or colour developer, a fixer, a stop or rinse solution, a silver bleach solution or a surface balancing solution. The processing solutions are sprayed on to exposed silver halide material such as exposed photographic print paper in sequence. The development may be preceded by spraying on a surface balancing agent containing sodium bromide and metabisulphite in de-ionized water. An example is given of a monochrome developer consisting of anhydrous sodium sulphite and carbonate, hydroquinine, Phenidone (Registered Trade Mark), potassium bromide, glycine, lecithin, de-ionized water, and butane, and of a colour developer consisting of anhydrous sodium sulphate and carbonate, potassium bromide, benzotriazole, N: N-ethyl hydroxy ethyl-p-phenylene diamine, sulphate, sodium hydroxide, sodium metaborate, hydroxylamine sulphate, water and butane.
