Abstract

1337063 Photographic developer EASTMAN KODAK CO 19 April 1971 [18 March 1970] 24550/71 Heading G2C Photographic lith developer composition is substantially free from bromide ions and contains a silver halide developing agent, a monoaldehyde bi-sulphite and cysteine or an acid addition salt thereof. Preferably the developing agent is hydroquinone, the bi-sulphite is sodium formaldehyde bi-sulphite and the composition also contains inter alia an antifoggant (e.g. 5-nitrobenzimidazole nitrate with or withouth 5-nitroindazole).
