Abstract
1,271,202. Coloured hydroxynaphthanide colour couplers in silver halide emulsions. KONISHIROKU PHOTO INDUSTRY CO. Ltd. Feb.23, 1970 [Feb.24, 1969], No.8662/70. Heading G2C. [Also in Divisions C4-5] Light-sensitive silver halide photographic emulsions containing as a coloured cyan coupler, a compound of formula wherein R is a C 1-4 alkyl or alkoxy group or a phenoxy, substituted phenoxy, aralkoxy or substituted aralkoxy group (see Division C4-5), are described. In Examples the colour couplers are incorporated into silver halide emulsions, coated on to a film support, the film exposed to red light and developed to give cyan negative and orange or red positive images.
