1388024 4-Heterocycloxy substituted phenolic and naphtholic compounds EASTMAN KODAK CO 23 March 1972 [25 March 1971] 13617/72 Heading C2C [Also in Division G2] Novel 4-heterocycloxy-substituted phenolic and naphtholic compounds having the general formula wherein X is H or halogen; Y is H, alkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio; R 3 is H or alkyl; R 4 is H or aryloxy; R 5 is H or alkyl; R 6 is alkyl, aryl or aryloxy; n is an integer from 0 to 8; m is 0 or 1 and each of is a heterocyclic radical having 5 or 6 ring members. The compounds may be used as colour couplers in photographic dyes.
