Abstract

1,099,222. Endless conveyers. CRAWLEY ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENTS Ltd. April 29, 1965 [May 1, 1964], No. 18172/64. Heading B8A. A tripper carriage 4 causes material to be discharged from a belt 19 on to a short endless belt 8 by which it is then discharged to a hopper 17. Doors 17a are openable by jacks 18 to release material to a discharge conveyer 20. The belt 8 is driven by bevel gearing (11), (12), (Fig. 1, not shown), from a drive shaft of the belt 19. The invention may be applied to the conveyer described in Specification 1,017,995.
