Containers 2 are directed into a single stream on an endless belt conveyer 1 by the action of smooth frusto-conical rollers 4, 5, and auxiliary slower-running endless belts 3, 3. The rollers 4, 5 are driven from a single shaft 21 via chain and toothed gearing. The distance apart of the rollers 4, 5 may be adjusted.
