Abstract

Pour faciliter la réduction de poids et de la taille d'un élément d'insertion destiné à servir de manchon de cylindre à monter sur un bloc-cylindres, l'invention propose un élément d'insertion de forme cylindrique, destiné à être utilisé comme manchon de cylindre d'un bloc-cylindres se montant sur un moteur de véhicule, l'élément d'insertion comprenant de multiples portions saillantes (2) faisant saillie radialement vers l'extérieur sur une surface périphérique extérieure (1a) de l'élément d'insertion. Les portions saillantes (2) ont chacune une portion plane (5), sur une partie extérieure de la portion saillante dans une direction radiale, la portion plane s'étendant dans une direction orthogonale à la direction radiale. La portion saillante (2) a une portion présentant une contre-dépouille (6) formée entre une surface de paroi latérale (3a) de la portion saillante (2) et la portion plane (5).
