CONSISTE EN LA COPULACION A UN PORTADOR DE ELEVADO PESO MOLECULAR DE UN PEPTIDO DEL GRUPO TRI- HASTA EL DODECA-PEPTIDO, QUE POSEE UNA SECUENCIA DE PEPTIDOS QUE CORRESPONDE A LOS ULTIMOS TRES AMINOACIDOS O HASTA LOS ULTIMOS DOCE AMINOACIDOS N-TERMINO DE LA CADENA ALFA DE FIBRINA; CON ESTE PEPTIDO UNIDO A UN PORTADOR, PRODUCIR EN UN ANIMAL ANTICUERPOS FRENTE A ESTE PEPTIDO; OBTENER, A PARTIR DE DICHO ANIMAL, ANTICUERPOS QUE SON ESPECIFICOS PARA EL PEPTIDO CITADO Y DETERMINAR LA FIBRINA MEDIANTE ESTOS ANTICUERPOS, QUE SON MONOCLONALES. TIENE APLICACIONES PARA LA DETERMINACION CUANTITATIVA, SELECTIVA DE FIBRINA EN EL PLASMA O EL TEJIDO DE PACIENTES CON COAGULACION INTRAVASCULAR DISEMINADA.
