Abstract

An oscillating harrow comprises a vibrator carried by the harrow section 33 and comprising an out-of-balance element rotatable in a horizontal plane and means for driving the element. As shown the element comprises a wheel 18 with a weight 19 fastened to the spokes which is driven by a belt drive 25 from the tractor power take-off 31. The wheel may be driven by a separate power unit. The harrow sections are attached to the implement frame by links 40 and chains 9. The frame rests on the ground by means of wheels or skids 45 at the front and pivoted spring-urged supports 46 at the rear.
