Folglich gewährleistet das zusammenlegbare Containergehäuse einen besonders raumsparenden Leertransport. Zweckmäßigerweise greift in jede Aufnahmetasche ein Verriegelungshaken mit Langlochführung ein, während jede Steckbacke stirnseitig eine hinterschnittene Verriegelungsausnehmung aufweist, um einen besonders innigen Verbund zwischen den Wandflächen zu erreichen. Dazu trägt auch bei, daß vorzugsweise die Aufnahmetaschen und die Steckbacken mit korrespondierender Konizität ausgebildet sind. In diesem Zusammenhang lehrt die Erfindung, daß die Stirnwände auf ihrer Außenseite randseitige Stapelausnehmungen und die Lagerprofile Stapelanformungen bzw. -ansätze aufweisen, die bei zusammengeklappten Wandhälften und mit der Stirnwand aufeinandergelegten Gehäusehälften in die Stapelausnehmungen eingreifen. - Das jeweils verwendete Untergestell weist Fixierungseinrichtungen, z.B. In den Figuren ist ein Container dargestellt, der in seinem grundsätzlichen Aufbau aus einem Containergehäuse 1 mit Stirnwänden 2 und Seitenwänden 3 und einem bodenbildenden Untergestell 4 in Ausführungsform einer Rollpalette zum Aufsetzen des Containergehäuses 1 besteht.
