Correct and secure stacking of the small bottle transport boxes is possible if only a single small bottle transport box is placed on top of a large bottle transport box.

The solution to this problem is characterized in that the large bottle transport box has vertical, inward-sloping strips on both long side walls, reaching to the box mouth and arranged in such a way that the latter engage in the gaps between two adjacent, ring-shaped stacking edges of a stacked, smaller bottle transport box and secure it against transverse displacement, that furthermore in the outer sides of the stacking edge of each large bottle transport box, indentations are provided vertically under the strips, the clear

Width and depth correspond to the thickness and width of a strip and that the stacking edge of the large bottle transport box is recessed in the middle of its longitudinal extension to at least twice the thickness of a long side wall of a small bottle transport box.

This not only reliably prevents the previously possible transverse displacement of stacked small bottle transport crates in the longitudinal direction of the large bottle transport crates, but moreover, the ability of large bottle transport crates to be stacked on top of one another is maintained without any changes having to be made to the small bottle transport crates.

This makes it possible to produce the strips with a relatively small profile and thus with relatively little material expenditure.

An advantageous further development of the bottle transport box described above consists in that on the long side walls of each large bottle transport box, in the middle of their longitudinal extension, there is a vertical strip that protrudes inwards, extends to the box mouth and engages between the ring-shaped stacking edges of two stacked, small bottle transport boxes.

The small bottle transport box 2 has a plurality of ring-shaped stacking edges 4*, each of which is assigned to a bottle compartment and is arranged at a distance from one another. On the insides of the long side walls of the large bottle transport box 1, two vertical strips 5 are arranged off-center and adjacent to a short side wall, projecting on the inside and reaching up to the mouth of the large bottle transport box, so that they engage in the gaps between two adjacent stacking edges 4 of a small stacked bottle transport box 2.

The stacking edges 4 of the small bottle transport boxes 2 are located as can be seen from Figure 2, whereby, as shown in Figure 1 in dotted lines, a small bottle transport box 1 is placed on a large bottle transport box 1.
