已知在车轮轮胎的制造中,在涉及通过将相应弹性体材料组件与合适加强结构组装而进行的制造生轮胎的步骤之后,提供模制和硫化处理,所述模制和硫化处理目的在于通过轮胎弹性体组件的交联来确定轮胎的结构稳定性,并且如果需要,施以期望的轮胎面花纹图案以及在侧壁上施以可能的图标。
为了该目的,生轮胎被导入适当加热的具有型腔的硫化模具内,该型腔形状与轮胎要被制成的最终构造一致。在执行模具的闭合之后,允许环形形状的囊在轮胎内膨胀,该囊在径向内部位置处具有至少一个圆周边缘,其载有用于锚定到模具的相应部分上的尾件。通过允许压力蒸汽进入获得囊的膨胀,以便使得该囊与轮胎内表面接触,并且使轮胎压靠到型腔壁上,同时以用于交联所需的量同步的热传递。
当硫化已经完成时,模具打开以便允许轮胎的去除,并且设定模具准备用于新的硫化循环。
然而,必须防止囊粘接到轮胎内壁太甚,以便不仅促进囊对轮胎构造的适应性,以及在硫化结束时没有任何破坏风险地去除轮胎。
已知,通过采取表面处理来应付该需求,上述表面处理基本上包括将通常通过喷射施加的合适脱模剂设置在囊外表面和/或轮胎内表面上。
然而,这些处理涉及到由于被用为脱模剂的材料以及用于执行这些处理所需设备和时间所导致的不同问题。表面处理也能够在环境影响方面产生问题,这是因为用作脱模剂的材料会是危险的,以及在生产不合格产品方面产生问题,每次在整个囊/轮胎接触表面上未均匀执行表面处理时都会产生不合格产品。
现有技术提出不同方案来减小硫化囊到轮胎表面的粘接。例如,文献JP63125311公开了如何通过弹性体组合物来制造可膨胀囊,该弹性体组合物包括有机橡胶和包含特定硅氧烷改性弹性体作为增溶剂的聚有机硅氧烷。
在文献JP5031724中提出使用可膨胀分层囊,其具有由丁基橡胶构成的内弹性体层和由硅橡胶构成的外弹性体层。丁基橡胶的内层确保对压力蒸汽的气密密封,而硅橡胶的外层方便囊在轮胎内表面上的滑动以及当硫化结束时从其上脱离。
发明内容
然而,本申请人已经发现在制造这种类型的囊中遇到几个困难:因为内层和外层由不同弹性体材料制成,所以较难在内层和外层之间的获得有效和可靠的结合。特别地,丁基聚合物基材和硅氧烷聚合物基材相互很不相容,这是因为它们一起不能执行交联,也即不能彼此形成稳定的分子键,这影响根据已知技术制造的分层囊的可靠性和耐用性。
本申请人已经认识到,为了获得有益地采用分层囊的方法,必须提供在像丁基混合物和硅氧烷混合物的不兼容混合物之间的有效附着手段,以便避免上述问题。
本申请人已经发现,制造所述囊的不同层以获得在接触表面之间机械结合,使得能够生产由非兼容混合物制成的囊,其在轮胎硫化装置内部使用很可靠并且长时间耐用,这是因为作为模制压力的结果倾向于分离不同层的力通过由于所述机械结合而在不同层的接触表面之间产生的约束反作用而抵消。
更具体的说,根据本发明,在制造分层囊时所需的不同材料以连续延伸元件的形式布置,并且在将其卷绕在环形支撑体上之前或过程中相互结合,以便获得分层的覆层,其中所述材料根据波状界面轮廓相互连接,该波状界面轮廓在材料自身之间限定机械结合的互补元件。通过适当选择延伸元件的形状和相互布置,能够以较宽的容限控制波状界面轮廓的构造,例如在波宽度和节距方面,以便增加在材料之间的结合表面。
因此本发明的目的在于提供权利要求1所限定的用于轮胎硫化装置的可膨胀囊。
本发明进一步目的在于提供权利要求9所限定的制造所述囊的方法。
本发明也提出在权利要求32和34中分别限定的用于轮胎硫化的新方法和新装置。

具体实施方式
参照附图,根据本发明用于轮胎硫化装置的可膨胀囊已经总体上由参考数字1指示。
囊1适于被用来与硫化装置相结合,硫化装置总体上在图1中由2指示,并包括具有多个侧模板4和扇段5的模具3,当该模具闭合时,上述多个侧模板4和扇段5限定适于接收被加工轮胎的型腔。
基本为环形构造的囊1具有载有相应锚定尾件1a的至少一个圆周边缘优选两个圆周边缘,囊1被密封地接合在模具3中,以便操作性地将囊自身与装置2相关联。用于供给蒸汽或其它工作流体并且在模具3中形成的管道7通入所述囊1中,以便随着压力蒸汽的进入使得囊膨胀,以便使轮胎6压靠在侧模板4和扇段5上。通过挤压作用,布置在扇段5和侧模板4上的合适凸区(land portion)引起在轮胎6的胎面区域上形成期望的轮胎面花纹图案,以及在轮胎侧壁上形成多个图标。
在侧模板4和/或扇段5处也操作地与模具3相关联的是设计用于为要被硫化的生轮胎6供应热量的装置,这些装置与引入可膨胀囊1内的蒸汽协作,以便引起形成轮胎自身的弹性体材料的交联。
当此循环已经完成时,模制和硫化的轮胎6与可膨胀囊1分离并且在模具3打开之后从模具3中取出。
可膨胀囊1有益地至少包括第一弹性体材料的一个第一层8和第二弹性体材料的一个第二层9,该第二弹性体材料不同于第一弹性体材料,并且相对于第一层8放在径向上外部位置处。第一和第二层8、9有益地在波状界面轮廓10处结合,该波状界面轮廓10限定在第一和第二层8、9之间的机械结合元件10a。
在优选实施例中,放置在径向内部位置处形成层8的第一弹性体材料由丁基基混合物构成,以便确保对供给到可膨胀囊1中的压力蒸汽的气密密封。
形成第二层9的第二弹性体材料优选由硅氧烷基混合物构成,以便在膨胀步骤中促进囊1抵靠轮胎6内表面的滑动,并且允许当硫化结束时囊1容易从轮胎6脱离。
如图2所示,在波状界面轮廓10中能够识别出波节距P和波高度H。在本说明书和下面的权利要求中,界面轮廓的波“节距”意欲指在正截面中轴向上测量的两个连续波的中点之间的距离P。在本定义的上下文中,每个波的中点是连接所述波相对的径向内端的线段“n”的中点。在图2中,值P被指示在线Z上,线Z平行于囊1的几何轴并因此代表轴向。
最后,在本说明书和下面的权利要求中,所述界面轮廓的每个波的“高度”意欲指线段“m”在平行于囊1的赤道平面的平面E上的投影H,上述线段“m”在正截面平面中垂直于连接所述波的径向内端的线段“n”或者线段“n”自身的延长线、并且在所述线段“n”或线段“n”延长线与波径向最外侧的点之间延伸。
为了使得能够在层8和9之间有效机械结合,波高度H优选等于或大于波节距P的十分之一,并且优选大于波节距P的一半,以便在没有底切时也获得有效的机械结合元件10a。
在图2示出的实施例中,波高度H是波节距P数值的大约五倍。
除了上述描述之外或者作为上述描述的替换,如图6所示,由界面轮廓10限定的互补机械结合元件10a可被设置成具有相互底切约束的部分10b。
从图5和7中看到,可以进一步设置弹性体材料的第三层11,所述这层在相对于第一层8的径向内部位置处设置,并且与形成第一层的弹性体材料交联。
如果需要,弹性体材料的第四层12也可以布置在相对于第二层9的径向外部的位置处,所述第四层与属于至少第二层自身的弹性体材料交联。
在优选的技术方案中,所述囊的总厚度S,只是作为一个指示的,为3~8mm,例如等于约5mm。由第一层8和优选可能的第三层11形成的囊1的径向内部具有如下厚度:其参照波状界面轮廓10的中线L进行测量,大于囊总厚度S的1/2并且优选相应于总厚度S的至少3/5。
由于丁基基混合物比硅氧烷基混合物更便宜,因此出于囊制造成本的益处考虑,由第二层9和可能的第四层12制成的囊1的径向外部的厚度将被有益地减小到仅是总厚度S的一半。
上述的可膨胀囊1的制造预期制备分别由第一和第二生弹性体材料制成的第一延伸元件13和第二延伸元件14。通过挤出获得并且分别从第一挤出机15和第二挤出机16供给的第一和第二延伸元件被导引到用于将它们放在环形支撑体18的沉积表面18a上的至少一个辊17或者其它输送部件,上述沉积表面18a的形状匹配于要获得的可膨胀囊的形状。环形支撑体18优选由仅仅部分示出的机械手19支撑,该机械手19从本申请人的文献WO00/35666 A1中已知。该机械手19使环形支撑体18围绕其几何旋转轴X进行圆周分布旋转运动,通过这种作用,由输送辊17放到沉积表面18a上的延伸元件13、14被圆周分布。
同时,机械手19在输送辊17前面移动环形支撑体18,使其进行横向分布的受控的相对位移,从而使得放在沉积表面18a上的第一和第二延伸元件13、14形成为围绕环形支撑体18的几何轴X卷绕的线圈。
在从各个挤出机15、16出来时,第一和第二延伸元件13、14以相对彼此的会聚方向朝向相互结合的点被引导,在该点延伸元件会合并且彼此粘接,形成连续的带状元件20,该带状元件20放置和分布在如上所述的环形支撑体18上。
在图3的实例中,延伸元件13、14的结合点与将它们通过输送辊17施加到环形支撑体18上的点相一致。然而,所述延伸元件13、14也能够以在环形支撑体18的上游的一点处结合的方式被引导。也可以提供如下:连续带状元件20来自供应卷轴,该供应卷轴在执行延伸元件13、14的相互结合之后带状元件自身的储存步骤中使用。
在进一步替换实施例中,延伸元件13、14能够被共挤,并且在单个挤出机26(图3b)的挤出头中直接结合,使得带状元件20在挤出机出口处直接产生。
最后,在通过在图3b中实例示出的不同实施例中,延伸元件13、14能够在圆周方向上相互隔开的点A、B处同步地放在环形支撑体18上。在该情况下,在延伸元件之间的结合点与第二延伸元件14到环形支撑体18上的施加点相一致。
能够从图4和6中看到,延伸元件13、14以如下这种方式相互结合:当结合发生时,它们中每一个均具有与另一延伸元件的基部相接触的基部21、22。另外,延伸元件13、14中至少一个可以具有从如下方向上从基部21、22凸出的顶点23、24:该方向横交于在所述图中由D指示的基部自身相互对齐的方向。
更具体地说,在优选实施例中,可以具有彼此基本上一致构造的延伸元件13、14在横交于基部21、22的相互对齐方向D的平面中相互偏置位置处进行结合,使得它们中每一个均具有相对于另一个延伸元件的顶点在相对方向上凸出的相应顶点23、24。
在放到环形支撑体18上的过程中,以如下方式控制延伸元件13、14的相互定位和/或由它们形成的连续带状元件20的定向:在靠近沉积表面18a时,第一延伸元件13的顶点23朝向环形支撑体18翻转。
在图5和7中能够清楚地看出,丁基材料的第一延伸元件13的顶点23在施加时变形,并且其从而朝向第二延伸元件14的基部22弯曲,采取在第二延伸元件14和环形支撑体18之间的插入位置,以便避免第二弹性体材料直接接触沉积表面18a。
在沉积表面18a处,通过如上所述顶点23的弯曲的作用,并排关系连续布置并且通过第一延伸元件13形成的线圈使丁基材料的连续层产生在整个沉积表面18a上。
依次,第二延伸元件14的顶点24径向离开由环形支撑体18提供的沉积表面18a被定向,并且能够被折起而靠在第一延伸元件13的基部21上,使得由第二延伸元件14形成的并排关系的线圈导致硅氧烷材料的连续层形成。
如果需要,能够由在输送辊17的下游工作的辊或其它辅助施加部件25帮助第二延伸元件14的顶点24的折起。
另外,作为以并排关系的线圈形式沉积的结果,第一和第二延伸元件13、14的基部21、22产生在第一和第二层之间的界面轮廓10。
如果需要,通过施加丁基材料的或者总之适合用于与形成第一延伸元件13的第一弹性体材料交联的材料的第三层11,能够进行第一和第二延伸元件13、14的施加。以与先前关于连续带状元件20的放置相同的方式,即通过施加弹性体材料的连续延伸元件,能够产生该第三层的形成,上述弹性体材料的连续延伸元件例如从挤出机中出来并且形成为并排关系连续放置的线圈,以便覆盖环形支撑体18的沉积表面18a。
第一和第二延伸元件13、14的放置之后,也可以执行上述第四层12的施加,所述这层由硅氧烷材料或者总之适合用于与形成第二延伸元件14的第二弹性体材料交联的材料制成。通过施加弹性体材料的第四延伸元件也能够执行第四层12的形成,上述弹性体材料的第四延伸元件从挤出机中出来并且形成为并排关系连续放置的线圈。第三和第四延伸元件11、12能够有益地或者通过用于形成第一和第二延伸元件13、14的相同挤出机15、16或者通过用于第三和第四延伸元件的专门挤出机生产。
在有第三和/或第四弹性体层11、12的情况下,分别从第一和第二延伸元件13、14凸出的顶点23、24的布置会显得多余,这是由于所述第三和第四层能够分别与形成延伸元件13、14的基部21、22的材料交联。
如图5所示,延伸元件13、14能够具有基本扁平横截面的构造。在该情况下,优选获得如图2所示的界面轮廓10,其中波高度H比波节距大很多,使得波状轮廓的峰和谷将引起机械结合元件的形成。可替换地,如图6和7示例的,延伸元件13、14能够有益地具有三角形构造的横截面轮廓。在该情况下,结合的延伸元件13、14的基部21、22引起在机械结合元件10a中具有底切约束的部分10b的形成。使用具有梯形横截面轮廓的延伸元件13、14获得相同的效果。
当在环形支撑体18上的层8、9、11、12的形成已经完成时,可膨胀囊1适于被导入模具内,以便提交到以任何便利方式执行的模制和硫化步骤。在该步骤中,在用于囊的模制和硫化的相同模具中,能够注入弹性体材料,用于引起所述第三和/或第四层11、12和/或任何其它附加覆层的形成。
本发明获得重要的优点。
事实上,能够显著地克服由于很难以稳定和可靠方式将硅氧烷混合物结合到丁基混合物所引起的任何问题,以便制造很耐用和可靠的可膨胀囊,其消除了为了促进囊对于内轮胎构造的适应性以及促进当硫化已经完成时卸胎而进行表面处理的必要性。
另外,本发明的囊适于以简单和便宜的方式被制造,利用已经在当今轮胎生产循环中提供的机器和设备,其中通过以在环形支撑体上并排关系放置的线圈形式卷绕生弹性体材料的延伸元件获得弹性体组件,如在本申请人的文献WO00/35666 A1中描述的一样。
Claims (35)
1.一种用于轮胎硫化装置的可膨胀囊,其具有环形构造,包括:
至少一个第一弹性体材料的第一层(8)和不同于所述第一弹性体材料的第二弹性体材料的一个第二层(9);
其中所述第二层(9)相对所述第一层(8)处于径向外部的位置处;
其中所述第一和第二层(8、9)具有波状界面轮廓(10);
其中所述波状界面轮廓(10)限定在第一和第二弹性体材料之间的机械结合元件(10a)。
2.如权利要求1所述的囊,其特征在于,具有载有锚定尾件(1a)的至少一个圆周边缘。

制备至少一个包括第一生弹性体材料的第一延伸元件(13)和至少一个包括第二生弹性体材料的第二延伸元件(14),该第二生弹性体材料具有与第一弹性体材料组分不同的组分;
以围绕所述环形支撑体(18)的几何轴(X)卷绕的线圈形式在所述环形支撑体(18)上放置所述第一延伸元件(13),以便形成所述第一弹性体材料的第一层(8);
以围绕所述环形支撑体(18)的几何轴(X)卷绕的线圈形式在环形支撑体(18)上放置所述第二延伸元件(14),以便在相对所述第一层(8)的径向外部位置处形成所述第二弹性体材料的第二层(9);
所述第一和第二层(8、9)具有波状界面轮廓(10),其中所述界面轮廓(10)限定在第一和第二弹性体材料之间的机械结合元件(10a);
硫化所述囊。

其中所述可膨胀囊(1)具有环形构造,并且包括:
至少一个第一弹性体材料的第一层(8)和不同于所述第一弹性体材料的第二弹性体材料的一个第二层(9);
其中所述第二层(9)处于相对所述第一层(8)在径向外部的位置处;
其中所述第一和第二层(8、9)具有波状界面轮廓(10);
其中所述波状界面轮廓(10)限定在第一和第二弹性体材料之间的机械结合元件(10a)。
33.如权利要求32所述的用于制造轮胎的方法,其特征在于,所述可膨胀囊(1)由权利要求2到8中任一个进行限定。
34.一种用于车轮轮胎的硫化装置,包括:
具有多个侧模板(4)和线段(5)的模具(3),上述多个侧模板(4)和线段(5)适于通过模制而限定在轮胎(6)的胎面区域上的轮胎面花纹图案以及在相同轮胎(6)侧壁上的多个图标;
供应热量到要被硫化的生轮胎(6)上以便使得后者能够交联的装置,所述装置可操作地与所述模具(3)相关联;

35.如权利要求34所述的用于车轮轮胎的硫化装置,其特征在于,所述可膨胀囊(1)由权利要求2到8中任一个进行限定。
