Abstract

背景技术
随着通信要求的增长,光纤网络得以扩展到越来越多的领域中。光缆的管理、安装的简易性以及可进行后续管理的情形是重要的问题。结果,存在解决这些和其他问题的光纤装置的需求。
发明内容
本公开的一个方面涉及一种光纤盒形式的光纤装置,该光纤盒包括提供信号进入位置的至少一个连接器和提供信号输出位置的至少一个连接器,以及位于上述两者之间的且用于将信号从进入位置传送(relay)到输出位置的柔性光纤回路。所述盒可以具有多种形式。如果希望在其他设备中使用柔性光纤回路,所述盒是可选的。

在100千兆(Gigabit)以太网连接器的情况下,可以在连接器中设置两排的12个光纤,其中10对光纤被用于信号传递。每一排的外部光纤不被使用,并且可以是柔性箔上的暗光纤,或者可以被连接到替代源。

具体实施方式
本公开总体上涉及一种光纤盒形式的光纤装置。如下文将更详细说明的那样,本公开的光纤盒的不同实施例被设计成将端接于诸如MPO类型连接器的后部连接器的多个光纤传送到定位在盒的大致前部处的多个插芯。因此,本公开的光纤盒在诸如具有MT插芯的MPO类型连接器的多光纤连接器与诸如LC或SC类型的连接器的单光纤或双光纤连接器之间提供过渡壳体或支撑件。
如在下文中将更加详细说明的那样,本公开的光纤盒的不同实施例利用柔性光回路,用于在定位在盒的一端的多光纤连接器和定位在盒的相反一端的单光纤或双光纤连接器之间进行过渡。
柔性光回路是无源光学部件,该光学部件包括嵌入在诸如MylarTM或其他柔性聚合物基板的柔性基板上的一个或一个以上(典型地,多个)光纤。一般地,虽然没有必要,但是每一个光纤的一个端面被设置成靠近柔性光回路基板的一个纵向端,并且每一个光纤的另一端面被设置成靠近柔性光回路基板的相反的纵向端。光纤延伸通过柔性光回路的纵向端(一般被称为尾纤(pigtail)),从而它们能够端接于光纤连接器,该光纤连接器能够通过配合光纤连接器而被联接到光纤光缆或者其他光纤部件。

应当注意,术语“非传统连接器(non-conventional connector)”可以指如下的光纤连接器,该光纤连接器不是诸如LC或SC连接器的传统类型的连接器,而是一般不会变成用于工业中的光纤连通性的可承认的标准覆盖范围。
通过消除通常与将光纤端接到连接器相关的技术劳动,包括抛光光纤的端面并且将光纤用环氧树脂胶合到连接器中,省略盒10中的传统配合连接器可以显著地减小总成本。此外还允许诸如光纤盒10的光纤互连装置被制造的非常薄。
还参考图1-24,盒10包括限定前部22、后部18和内部28的主体26。主体26还包括顶部30、底部32和侧部34、36。
信号进入位置38可以被MPO连接器16提供,该MPO连接器16在示出的实施例中沿着盒主体26的后部18。容纳部40容纳MPO连接器16,同时柔性悬臂42可以被提供以利用卡扣互锁将第二配合MPO连接器联接到盒10。非传统连接器20被线性地设置成靠近盒10的前部22,并且沿由主体26限定的纵向轴线A定位。在盒10的描述的实施例中,盒10的MPO连接器16被定位成平行于纵向轴线A并且基本上垂直于位于盒10的前部22的非传统连接器20的插芯44延伸。
一般地,盒10包括顶部30和底部32,该顶部30和底部32基本上彼此平行并且限定盒主体26的主要表面。侧部34、36、前部22和后部18基本上限定盒主体26的主要侧部。盒10可以被定向在任何位置中,从而顶部表面和底部表面可以被颠倒,或者被竖直地定位,或者被定位在一些其它方向上。
在图1-24中示出的光纤盒10的实施例中,靠近盒10的前部22定位的非传统连接器20每一个都限定安装在插芯44上的毂46。接口的剖面在图15和图15A中可见。如图21至24所示,每一个插芯44都被构造为端接从柔性回路12中延伸出的光纤14中的一个。
非传统连接器20被放置在容纳部48中,该容纳部48设置在位于盒10的前部22处的连接块或阵列50处。还可以设置夹板套筒52,用于每一个非传统连接器20的毂46和插芯44以及从前部22进入到盒10的另一配合连接器的插芯之间的插芯对准。
从盒10的前部22进入盒10的配合连接器也可以通过安装在连接块50上的光纤适配器而被连接。图1-24的盒10被示出为在盒10的前部22不具有将允许诸如LC连接器的传统连接器可以被配合到位于盒10的内部28中的非传统连接器20上的多排适配器。此种适配器或适配器块可以是卡扣配合、超声焊接、或者以其他方式附接到盒主体26的剩余部分。在图25-36和图40-42中分别示出的光纤盒110、120的版本中,多排光纤适配器5被示出为位于盒110、120上。
在图1-24的盒10的示出实施例中,将与盒10一起使用的适配器的尺寸可以被规定为容纳配合的LC连接器。SC连接器也可以与适当尺寸的适配器一起使用。
图1-24的盒10可以被密封或者可以被打开,从而允许维修或清洁内部毂46和插芯44。在一些情况下,适配器块可以被卡扣到主体26的剩余部分,以便于组装。适配器块优选地也可以从盒10的剩余部分上移除,以允许清洁内部的非传统连接器20。柔性光回路12允许包括MPO连接器16的整个光纤束能够被移出,以便清洁或更换。
具体地,现在参考图13和图16-24,从形成柔性光回路12的基板24的后端54延伸出的光纤尾纤14形成带状(ribbonized),以端接至MPO连接器16的MT插芯56。从基板24的前端58延伸出的光纤尾纤14被分别端接至插芯44以被定位在盒10的前部22。如图所示,基板24限定前部延伸体60(每个光纤14一个),每一个前部延伸体以间隔分开的构造被设置用于向基板24提供一些柔性。各个光纤14在基板24的后部54从带状部分分离出来,并且被布线通过基板24至各个前部延伸体60。每一个插芯毂46限定一个凹口或一个切口62以用于容纳基板24的前部延伸体60的前部64。
在图21至24中示意性示出了从基板24的前部延伸体60的每一个延伸的光纤尾纤14。现在参考图21-24的示意图,根据一个示例性实施例,从基板24延伸的光纤尾纤14可以通过由被覆层包围的光纤芯部组成的光纤66限定。形成柔性光回路12的基板24的前部延伸体60的部分68被插入到延伸通过插芯毂46的中心的柱形孔70中,同时由光纤芯部和周围的覆层(在主要涂层已经被剥离之后)组成的露出的光纤66被插入到插芯44中(参见图21)。插芯毂46的切口62在使端接稳定中接收基板24的前部延伸体60的部分68。
根据一个示例性处理步骤,通过使用刚性基板,当光纤被端接至插芯44时,光纤的端部可以被劈开,并且延伸自基板24的插芯44的所有端部可以同时被抛光。
如图11-13、15和15A所示,除了柔性光回路12的基板24在盒10的前部22处提供用于非传统连接器20的插芯44的偏置以用于插芯接口变化的固有能力之外,其他结构也可以被用于补充柔性路12的固有偏置。例如,在盒10的示出实施例中,弹性夹72被定位在盒10中的容纳部74中,并且平行于盒主体26的纵向轴线A延伸。在传统的光纤连接器中,插芯组件一般地包括弹簧,从而当它们被配合在适配器中时,插芯一起被弹簧的偏置力压靠。在描述的盒10中,弹簧夹72可以被定位成抵靠插芯毂46的后端75,从而当它们配合进入的连接器时,向插芯44提供一些偏置。柔性光回路12的基板24的柔性允许非传统连接器20的插芯44向后弯曲,并且弹性夹72提供额外的偏置以迫使它们向前。弹性夹72可以被粘结到盒10的一部分上,以便将弹性夹72刚性地固定在盒10中。
应当注意,诸如弹性夹72的结构可以被用在本申请中描述和图示的光纤盒的实施例的任意一个中。
现在参考图25-36,示出了光纤盒110的另一实施例例。光纤盒110与图1-24的盒10类似,使用主体126中的柔性光纤光路112以用于传送光纤114。在该实施例中,多光纤连接器116(以MPO连接器的形式)被定向成平行于非传统连接器120,该非传统连接器120位于盒110的前部122并且基本上垂直于由盒110限定的纵向轴线A。多光纤连接器116经由在盒10的后部118坐落于容纳部140中的多光纤适配器111被安装到盒110上。
柔性回路112被构造为将光纤114从位于限定信号进入位置138的后部118处的多光纤连接器116过渡到位于盒110的前部122处的非传统连接器120。盒110被示出为在盒110的前部122处包括成适配器块115形式的多排适配器5。诸如LC连接器的传统连接器经由适配器可以与位于盒110的前部122的非传统连接器120的插芯144配合。适配器5被线性地设置并且沿着纵向轴线A被定位。在示出的实施例中,适配器5的尺寸被规定为接收前部LC连接器。SC连接器也可以与适当尺寸的适配器一起使用。在示出的实施例中,适配器5是具有前端117、相反的后端119的块状构造115的形式。前端115包括用于接收LC连接器的轮廓。在适配器115的后端119处,非传统连接器120的包括插芯毂146和插芯114的插芯组件坐落于容纳部148中,该容纳部148与适配器5的端口121对齐。对于每一连接器对,夹板套筒152也被设置,用于每一个非传统连接器120的毂和插芯与传统LC连接器的插芯之间的插芯对准。
如前所示和所述,适配器块115可以被卡扣、超声波焊接或其他方式连接到盒主体126的剩余部分或者形成主体126的一部分。盖127可以被用于覆盖块115后部的区域。在图26-31中,盒110已经以盖127被移除或者不具有盖127的形式被示出,以示出盒110的内部特征。
与盒10的第一实施例一样,图25-36的盒110被构造为使得该盒110可以被密封或者可以被打开,从而允许维修或者清洁内部毂146和插芯114。在一些情况下,适配器块115可以被卡扣到主体126的剩余部分以便于组装。适配器块115优选地电可以从盒110的剩余部分上移除以允许清洁内部的非传统连接器120。柔性光纤光路112允许包括MPO连接器116的整个光纤束能够被移除以用于清洁或更换。
延伸自柔性回路112的基板124的前部158的光纤尾纤114的端接与如上所述的参考图1-24的盒10的插芯组件的端接类似。在基板124的后部154,如前所述,光纤114形成带状,以端接至MT插芯156。
基板124包括位于前侧158的延伸体160。延伸体160限定位于每一个延伸体之间的切口161。切口161使基板124具有柔性,并且基本上使得非传统连接器120的插芯144是基本自由浮动的结构,以允许在两个不同的轴线(例如,向上/向下,前/后)上运动。
具体地,参考图27、28、31、33和36,柔性光回路112的基板124也示出为具有靠近盒110的后容纳部140的弯曲部125。如前所述,使用柔性基板124以固定光纤114的一个优点是允许基板124的有限的受控制的运动,以适应内部部件和盒主体126之间的任何公差变化或者在连接到进入的连接器期间适应内部插芯144的任何运动。
具有基板324的简单柔性光回路312的一个示例在图37-39中示出了,该基板324包括用于控制弯曲和允许光纤314中的轴向移动的设计。U型弯曲或者S型弯曲325可以被设置在柔性光回路312的基板324中,以允许光纤314的轴向移动。在连接器插芯的公差和成型的聚合物结构(诸如盒主体)的情况下,可能存在插芯接口变化的显著累积。通过允许柔性回路312的基板324以受控的方式被弯曲,可以适应这些公差。
图40-42示出了使用柔性光回路212的光纤盒210的另一实施例,其中弯曲225基本上被设置在回路212的基板224的中部227中。图40-42的盒210的基板224提供与前述实施例中的盒10、210类似的优点。
作为另一示例,图43-45示出了柔性回路412,该柔性光回路412包括基板424,该基板具有位于基板424的带状的光纤部中的扭曲425。此种设计可以适应连接器接口之间的较大的距离变化。如图43-45的柔性回路412的实施例所示,位于基板的后端的MPO连接器可以限定纵向轴线,该纵向轴线垂直于位于基板424的前部的非传统连接器的那些纵向轴线。因此,延伸自MPO连接器的光纤14在端接于前部连接器之前可以跟随“S”或者“Z”型路径。在示出的实施例中,随着该光纤14延伸到基板前部的非传统连接器,光纤14以并排、非重叠的构造进入基板424并且从该基板424中分支出去。基板424允许光纤14跟随此路径,同时保留任何最小的弯曲半径需求。在将在下面讨论的如图51、52所示的不同示例性实施例中,在后部进入基板的光纤可平行于从基板的前部延伸出的部分定向。在此示例中,光纤可以以非重叠的构造再次从基板的后部进入,并且可以分支出去到位于基板的前部的不同的非传统连接器,以满足最小的弯曲半径需求。
现在参考图46-50,示出了插芯条500的实施例。在适配器块(例如,115)的一端使用非传统连接器(例如,20、120)的盒(例如,10、110、210)的组件中通常遇到的一个问题是将插芯毂(例如,46、146)安装到柔性回路(例如,12,、112、212)并且操作插芯毂。根据一个创造性方法,插芯(例如,44、144)可以利用聚合物多插芯条500而被二次成型,该多插芯条500形成多个一体的毂546。多插芯条500可以被成型,从而以正确的节距保持插芯544,以用于插入到盒(例如,10、110、210)的容纳部(例如,48、148)中。
现在总体上参考图51-61,当使用包括嵌入在柔性回路中的多个光纤的柔性回路时,生产率可能是大问题,尤其是假设所有的各个光纤必须被分别端接到柔性光回路前部的各个插芯中。如果端接中的一个受到损坏(例如,对光纤或者对陶瓷插芯),整个柔性回路可能变得不能使用。本公开考虑到如下的方法,如果光纤或者插芯中的一个出现故障,该方法允许光纤分别重新端接。
具体地现在参考图51-52,根据一个实施例方法,缓冲光纤(buffered fiber)614的成环长度613在柔性基板624和每一个非传统连接器620之间可以被存储在盒中。如果端接中的一个出现故障,技术人员可以展开光纤614的长度613并且重新端接,从而挽救柔性回路612的剩余部分。
根据另一方法,如图53-61所示,代替使用单一柔性基板以用于传送来自于多光纤连接器716的所有光纤,可以使用堆叠布置的多个分开的复式基板724。每一个复式叠层能够可移除地被安装在盒上,并且端接中的一个出现故障时可以被移除以用于维修或更换。
如图53-61所示,根据一个实施例,可以存在包括6个基板724的6个复式柔性回路712,总共有来自于MPO连接器的12个光纤714。在此种实施例中,所有的6个基板724可以例如通过如下的方式而被提供:制造3个不同的形状的基板,然后将三个不同形状的基板翻转180°,以提供用于整个叠层的6个需要的复式基板724。如图53-55所示,将构造三个不同形状,以使得当堆叠时,基板724的前部延伸体760将被空间分开,从而类似于单个一体基板(例如24、124、224)的前部延伸体(例如,60、160)并且配合在给定盒的内部构造中。
现在参考图54、54A、55、55A、56、57、57A、58-60、60A和61,因为光纤714的将被端接到MPO连接器的MT插芯的一部分必须以平坦的、带状的构造提供以用于端接,并且因为堆叠的柔性回路712具有阶梯构造的光纤714,所以用作光纤过渡装置的夹紧结构780可以被用在盒712中。
如图54、54A、55、55A、56、57、57A、58-60、60A和61所示,夹紧结构780可以包括上部构件782,该上部构件782利用具有锥形凸片788的悬臂786而被卡扣到下部构件784。夹紧结构780的上部构件782和下部构件784提供包括阶梯792的光纤通道/导向部790,用于将光纤714从阶梯状构造过渡到平坦构造,以用于端接于MPO连接器716的MT插芯756。夹紧结构780被设计为使得堆叠的柔性光纤714被转换为线性平面,从而它们能够形成为带状同时保持光纤714的最小的弯曲半径需求。夹紧结构780的上部构件782和下部构件784可移除地卡扣在一起,以用于将堆叠基板724保持在适当的位置,并且用于控制光纤714的过渡同时支撑弯曲的半径限制。如果柔性基板、插芯或光纤中的任一个被损坏,那么夹紧机构780可以被分开,从而移除柔性基板724以被维修或更换。
根据特定实施例,如上所述和所示的盒中的任一个可以具有3-4英寸的长度(平行于纵向方向A),2-3英寸的宽度(从前到后)以及大致1/2英寸的高度。更具体地,长度可以是3至3.5英寸,宽度可以是2至2.5英寸,并且高度可以是0.5英寸。高度可以按照需要改变,例如以适应适配器5或者多排适配器5的不同格式。
现在参考图62-66,示出了用于将从柔性基板824的前端858延伸出的光纤尾纤814端接到非传统连接器的插芯的另一示例性方法。在示出的实施例中,与如上描述的柔性回路712类似的复式柔性回路812被用来图示示例性端接方法。如图62所示,此种复式回路812当被放置在盒主体中时以堆叠布置的方式提供。根据如图62-66所示的实施例,分别被端接到插芯884的尾纤814通过剥去柔性基板824的一部分(包括光纤的主涂层)而形成,从而剩下由光纤芯和覆层的组合形成的光纤866。在特定的实施例中,由光纤芯和覆层形成的光纤866在截面尺寸中可以是125微米。根据一个实施例,被剥离的主涂层在截面尺寸中是大致约250微米。光纤866延伸自柔性基板824的前部延伸体860的将被插入到插芯毂846的一部分868。根据特定实施例,该部分868限定大致正方形的截面形状,该截面形状具有分别为0.5mm的侧边尺寸。因此,正方形截面部868能够被插入到柱形孔870中,该柱形孔870延伸通过可以是直径大约是0.9mm(参见图63-66)的插芯毂846的中心。由光纤芯和周围的覆层(在主涂层已经被剥离之后)组成的露出光纤866被插入到插芯844中,如图64-66所示。
现在参考图67-73,示出了盒810的示例,该盒810被构造为用于容纳诸如如图62-66所示的柔性回路812的堆叠柔性回路。盒810在特定的方面与前述实施例中所示的盒10、110和210类似。然而,盒810在盒主体的前端822处限定容纳部848,该容纳部848与插芯毂846的外部形状匹配(例如,具有六边形形状),其中,容纳部848被构造为完全包围插芯毂846。容纳部848由盒主体的与盒810的适配器块815一体地形成的多个部分形成。如图所示,适配器块815被可移除地插入到盒主体826。也具有六边形构造的容纳部848与插芯毂846的外部形状匹配并且防止毂在该容纳部中转动。以此方式,毂在端接、组装、抛光等期间以稳定的方式被保持。
即使插芯毂846和配合的容纳部848在示出的实施例中已经被示出为具有六边形横截面,但是在其他实施例中,可以使用具有平坦部(诸如正方形,矩形等)的不同横截面形状来提供键式机构。例如,在图53-57以及图60中已经示出了能够与具有正方形插芯毂的本公开的盒一起使用的插芯的实施例。
如图所示,盒主体826限定用于容纳夹紧结构880(与图56-61的夹紧结构780类似)以及MPO连接器816的容纳部840,该MPO连接器816被端接到各个复式柔性基板824的后端。
还参考图67-73,已经示出了使用堆叠复式柔性回路812的盒810的示例,该示例具有可以被用在更早的实施例的盒(例如,10、110、210)上的其他附加方面。例如,根据一些方面,形成盒的前部的适配器块的特定类型适配器可以被构造为收集来自于容纳在其上的一个或多个光纤连接器(例如,LC连接器)的物理层信息。特定类型的适配器可以包括主体,该主体被构造为保持一个或多个媒介读取接口,该读取接口被构造为接合光纤连接器上的存储器触头。一个或多个媒介读取接口可以以不同的方式定位在每一个适配器主体中。在特定实施方式中,适配器主体可以限定在适配器主体的外部和内部通道之间延伸的狭槽,连接器的插芯被容纳在该内部通道中。特定类型的媒介读取接口可以包括被定位在这些狭槽中的一个或多个接触构件。每一个接触构件的一部分可以被延伸到多个通道中的相应的一个中以接合光纤连接器上的存储器触头。
在图67-73的盒810的描述示例中,延伸到块815的适配器通道的每一个中的触头801位于可移除结构上。触头801被限定在印刷电路板803上,该印刷电路板803被放置在柔性回路812和盒810的盖827之间。触头801与适配器通道的顶侧对齐,并且延伸到适配器通道中,从而接合插入到适配器通道中的光纤连接器的存储器触头。印刷电路板803被设计成将来自位于盒810的前部的触头801的电信号传送到盒810的后部,如图67-73所示。导电路径可以通过在主电路板的前端可以被限定在适配器的触头801之间的具有主电路板的印刷电路板803限定。主电路板可以包括或连接到(例如,通过网络)处理单元,该处理单元被构造为管理通过媒介读取接口获得的物理层信息。图73示出了与盒810的印刷电路板803的媒介读取接口801电接触的光纤连接器。
在2011年2月11日提交的美国申请No.13/025,841中示出了具有媒介读取接口的示例适配器和具有适当的存储器和存储触头的示例光纤连接器,该申请的名称为“受管理的光纤连接系统”,该申请的内容通过引用纳入本文中。
除了描述的盒的多种用途和应用之外,盒可以被用于端接诸如144-光缆的多光纤FOT光缆的光纤,以使得被端接的光缆的安装更加容易和快速。
所公开的盒的一个优点是不需要在现场操作各个连接器、MPO连接器、或者具有上护套的尾纤。盒10、110、210、810的尺寸可以通过使用柔性基板(例如,24、124、224、824)而被减小,该柔性基板可以通过以给定的覆盖区或式样固定光纤而最优化光纤的弯曲半径限制。此外,盒中的各个光纤的手动操作和端接被减少或消除,其中在盒中可以提供自动、可重复的端接。
本文描述和示出的盒可以通过被安装到不同类型的通信设备而使用。本公开的盒可以被固定地安装或安装为例如作为可滑动地移动的模块或套件的一部分。
虽然在前述的描述中,诸如“顶部”、“底部”、“前部”、“后部”、“左”、“右”、“上”和“下”被使用以便于说明解释,而不是旨在通过使用此种术语而进行限制。根据期望的应用,本文描述的通信装置可以被用在任何方向中。
在已经描述本公开的优选方面和实施例的情况下,对本领域的技术人员而言可以轻易地对公开的概念进行修改和等同替换。然而,此种修改和等同替换试图被包含在附在本文中的权利要求的范围之内。
上述的示例包括将多光纤连接器(MPO)连接到单独的光纤连接器的柔性光回路。图74-85示出了利用柔性光回路将多光纤连接器(MPO)连接到多光纤连接器(MPO)的多个示例。
12光纤连接器是已知的(包括单排或多排的12个光纤(例如,2-6排))。一些示例使用12光纤连接器,但是并不是所有光纤都传送信号/光。这些光纤是暗的或者不使用的,但是依旧是柔性箔的一部分。此种构造通过在同一时间连接所有的12个(或者12的倍数个)光纤而能够易于组装。如果不存在不使用的光纤,那么在抛光期间,如果通过插芯体现出开口孔,那么存在多光纤插芯可能被损坏的可能性。
多层柔性箔可以根据需要与一个或多个多光纤连接器一起使用以提高组装和光纤管理的容易度。
图74-85示出了柔性箔和多光纤连接器的多个示例。箔可以被容纳在盒中,在该盒中连接器被连接到作为盒的一部分的适配器。箔可以被用在其他设备中而不需要被容纳在盒中。
因为光纤作为组(或子组)被处理,所以箔在组装期间容易处理。为了端接连接器16,基板随着光纤涂层而被移除,然后玻璃光纤以诸如利用环氧树脂的传统方式被连接到多光纤连接器16的插芯。
参考图74-76,柔性箔与被连接到由箔管理和支撑的多个光纤的多个连接器16一起示出。在示出的示例中,并不是被提供的所有的光纤都传送信号。具体地,在箔的具有三个连接器16的一侧,12光纤中只有8个传送信号,中间的四个光纤是暗光纤。
现在参考图77-83,示出了具有不同的路线的箔和连接器的多个示例。在一些情况中,光纤是非激活的或者暗的。在一些应用中,这些光纤可以被用于传送其他信号。

Claims (11)
1.一种容纳光纤回路的盒,该盒包括:
柔性光回路,所述柔性光回路包括容纳在盒体中的柔性基板和由所述柔性基板支撑的多个涂层光纤;

2.根据权利要求1所述的盒,其中,提供多个基板,并且每一个基板的光纤被连接至具有多排光纤的单个多光纤连接器的单个排上。
3.根据权利要求1所述的盒,其中,提供多个基板,并且每一个基板的光纤被连接至具有多排光纤的单个多光纤连接器的一个以上的排上。
4.根据权利要求1所述的盒,其中,光纤连接在两个多光纤连接器之间,其中,一个连接器位于前方或后方,并且另一连接器位于侧方。
5.根据权利要求1所述的盒,其中,光纤连接在三个多光纤连接器之间,其中,多个光纤中的至少一些光纤回环至多个多光纤连接器中的一个多光纤连接器,并且其他光纤中的至少一些光纤传至多光纤连接器中的另一个多光纤连接器,其中一个多光纤连接器能够以菊链的形式连接至另一个多光纤连接器。
6.根据权利要求1所述的盒,其中,光纤被连接至不同类型的源。
7.根据权利要求1所述的盒,其中,多个光纤中的一些光纤传送信号,其中多个光纤中的一些光纤被连接至控制回路和/或指示光源。
8.根据权利要求1所述的盒,其中,光纤包括连接在两个多光纤连接器之间的多个第一光纤和仅连接至一个多光纤连接器并且为暗光纤的多个第二光纤。
9.根据权利要求1所述的盒,其中,三个多光纤连接器设置在所述基板的所述一部分处,并且两个多光纤连接器设置在所述基板的所述另一部分处。
10.根据权利要求1所述的盒,其中,设置在所述基板的所述一部分处的所述多光纤连接器每一个都包括其中每一排光纤包括十二个光纤的至少一排光纤,并且设置在所述基板的所述另一部分处的所述较少数量的多光纤连接器每一个都包括其中每一排光纤包括十二个光纤的至少两排光纤。
11.根据权利要求1所述的盒,其中,设置在所述基板的所述一部分处的所述多光纤连接器每一个都包括其中每一排光纤包括十二个光纤的至少两排光纤,并且设置在所述基板的所述另一部分处的所述较少数量的多光纤连接器每一个都包括其中每一排光纤包括十二个光纤的至少两排光纤。
