发明领域
本发明涉及一种用于毛发清洁和护理的洗发剂组合物,所述组合物包含含有脂肪醇的分散的凝胶网络相。更具体地讲,本发明涉及上述洗发剂组合物,其中所述分散的凝胶网络相具有至少约38℃的熔融转变温度。
发明背景
由于与周围环境接触以及由于头皮分泌皮脂,人的毛发会变脏。毛发变脏会使其具有脏污感,并且看上去也不美观。变脏的毛发需要经常清洗。
洗发剂通过除去过量污垢和皮脂来清洁毛发。但是,洗发可使毛发处于潮湿、缠结和通常不易整理的状态。毛发变干后,由于除去了毛发的天然油脂以及其它天然调理和保湿成分,毛发经常处于干燥、蓬乱、无光泽或卷曲的状态。此外,干燥后的毛发上会留下更多的静电,会影响梳理并导致通常称为“飞散的毛发”的状况。
已经开发了各种缓解这些洗发后问题的方法。这些方法包括从在使用洗发剂之后使用毛发调理剂(如免洗型和洗去型产品)到试图用一种产品同时清洁和调理毛发的毛发调理洗发剂。
为了提供在清洁洗发剂基础上的毛发调理有益效果,人们已建议了多种调理活性物质。然而,许多这些活性物质具有使毛发具有脏污感或涂层感并影响洗发剂清洁功效的缺点。
已知洗发剂组合物中凝聚层的形成对于提供毛发调理有益效果是有利的。使用阳离子聚合物以形成凝聚层是本领域(例如在PCT公布WO93/08787和WO 95/01152中)已知的。然而,这些洗发剂组合物对于递送湿发调理是好的,但不能够递送令人满意的干发光滑感。

适合用于本文组合物中的两性离子或两性去污表面活性剂包括已知用于毛发护理或其它个人清洁组合物中的那些。上述两性去污表面活性剂的浓度优选在约0.5%至约20%,优选约1%至约10%的范围内。适宜的两性离子或两性表面活性剂的非限制性实例描述于授予Bolich Jr.等人的美国专利5,104,646和5,106,609中。
本发明的组合物还可包含附加的表面活性剂来与上文所述的阴离子去污表面活性剂组分组合使用。合适的附加表面活性剂包括阳离子和非离子表面活性剂。
适用于所述组合物中的其它阴离子、两性离子、两性、阳离子、非离子或任选的附加表面活性剂的非限制性实施例描述于McCutcheon的“Emulsifiers and Detergents”(1989年刊,M.C.Publishing Co.出版)和美国专利3,929,678、2,658,072、2,438,091和2,528,378中。
B.分散的凝胶网络相
本发明所述的洗发剂组合物包含含有一种或多种脂肪醇的分散的凝胶网络相。本发明选用脂肪醇或不同脂肪醇的混合物使得所述分散的凝胶网络相(即,作为掺入并分散于最终洗发剂组合物中的相)具有至少约38℃的熔融转变温度,所述凝胶网络相在下文中将更详细地描述。
所述分散的凝胶网络相包括在本发明的洗发剂组合物中以提供调理有益效果。如本文所用,术语“凝胶网络”是指层状或多孔的固体结晶相,其包含至少一种以下详细说明的脂肪醇、至少一种以下详细说明的第二表面活性剂、以及水或其它合适的溶剂。所述层状或多孔的相包含双层,其由包含脂肪醇和第二表面活性剂的第一层和包含水或其它合适溶剂的第二层交替组成。如本文所用,术语“固体结晶”是指层状或多孔相的结构,其在温度低于所述凝胶网络中层的熔融转变温度下形成,所述凝胶网络包含一种或多种脂肪醇,所述熔融转变温度为至少约27℃(即,约略高于室温)。所述熔融转变温度可通过差示扫描量热法测量,该方法在下文中描述。
为了澄清起见,至少27℃的所述熔融转变温度是指直接高于“固体结晶”定义的那部分,是与本发明洗发剂组合物所述分散的凝胶网络相所述熔融转变温度(至少约38℃)不同的数值。换言之,如上所述的层状或多孔相可以是固体结晶(即,至少27℃),但是上述固体结晶层状多孔相未必是本发明所述洗发剂组合物分散的凝胶网络相(即,至少38℃)。
包含例如脂肪醇的凝胶网络已在化妆用霜膏和护发剂中使用多年。然而,这样的化妆用霜膏和护发剂典型包含非常低的量(即使含的话)的去污表面活性剂。因此,上述已知产品不向毛发或皮肤提供清洁和调理的组合。
一般来讲,凝胶网络还由G.M.Eccleston的“Functions of MixedEmulsifiers and Emulsifying Waxes in Dermatological Lotions and Creams”,Colloids and Surfaces A:Physiochem.and Eng.Aspects123-124(1997)169-182;和G.M Eccleston的“The Microstructure of SemisolidCreams”,Pharmacy International,第7卷,63-70(1986)所描述。
在本发明的一个实施例中,分散的凝胶网络相是预成形的。如本文所用,术语“预成形的”是指脂肪醇、第二表面活性剂、以及水或其它合适溶剂至少百分之五十的混合物,在被加入到洗发剂组合物的其它组分中时,基本上是固体结晶相。
依照本发明的该实例,将本发明的凝胶网络组分制备成单独的预混物,其在冷却后接着与去污表面活性剂和洗发剂组合物的其它组分混合。所述凝胶网络组分的制备更详细地描述于下文名称为“制备洗发剂组合物方法”的部分以及所述实施例中。
随后将冷却的和预成形的凝胶网络组分加至洗发剂组合物的其中组分(包括去污表面活性剂组分)中。不受理论的约束,据信将冷却的和预成形的凝胶网络组分与去污表面活性剂和洗发剂组合物的其它组分混合,使得在最终洗发剂组合物中形成充分平衡的层状分散体(ELD)。所述ELD是分散的层状或多孔相,其由预成形的凝胶网络组分与去污表面活性剂、水、以及洗发剂组合物中可能存在的其它任选组分(例如盐)充分平衡而产生。该平衡在预成形的凝胶网络组分与洗发剂组合物的其它组分混合后进行,并且在开始后约24小时之内有效地完成。其中形成ELD的洗发剂组合物为毛发提供改善的湿的和干的调理有益效果。此外,如果包含凝胶网络组分的组分(即脂肪醇和第二表面活性剂与水混合)作为单独的组分与洗发剂组合物的其它组分一起添加到一个混合步骤中,并且不作为单独冷却的预成形凝胶网络组分,所述ELD就不会形成。
为了澄清起见,如本文所用术语“ELD”是指与所述短语“分散的凝胶网络相”相同的本发明所述洗发剂组合物组分。因此,在依照本发明的洗发剂组合物中,所述ELD具有至少约38℃的熔融转变温度。
如上所述,所述ELD通过将冷却的和预成形的凝胶网络组分和所述去污表面活性剂以及所述洗发剂组合物的其它组分混合而形成。当所述ELD和预成形的凝胶网络组分都包含脂肪醇、第二表面活性剂和水一起以层状或多孔的固体结晶相的形式的时候,与所述预成形的凝胶网络组分的那些相比,在所述ELD某些物理特性之间存在差异。在与所述去污表面活性剂以及所述洗发剂组合物的其它组分混合之前,所述预成形的凝胶网络组分基本由脂肪醇、第二表面活性剂和水组成。在混合时,所述凝胶网络的层状结构充当模板,被溶胀并和所述去污表面活性剂以及所述洗发剂组合物的其它组分,如盐和香料平衡。因此,据信在所述预成形的凝胶网络组分和所述ELD之间某些物理特性的这些差异与迁移一致,例如,去污表面活性剂、盐和香料迁移至所述凝胶网络相。
例如,对于上述预成形的凝胶网络组分,参见下文“凝胶网络实施例4”中所述,通过差示扫描量热法测量,所述熔融转变温度约68.3℃。另外,通过小角X射线散射测量所述d-间距约31.8nm,而通过广角X射线衍射测量,所述脂肪醇链间距约0.41nm。在将所述预成形的凝胶网络组分与所述去污表面活性剂和所述洗发剂组合物的其它组分混合后,形成了所述ELD。参见下文“洗发剂实施例4”中所述,所述ELD具有约41.8℃较低的熔融转变温度和约9.0nm的较低的d-间距。值得注意地,所述脂肪醇链间距没有实质的变化,这表示所述脂肪醇链仍冻结在所述ELD中,恰如它们在所述预成形的凝胶网络组分中一样。
因此,凝胶网络在预混物和最终的洗发剂组合物中以ELD的形式存在可通过本领域技术人员已知的方法确认,如X射线分析、光学显微镜法、电子显微镜法、以及差示扫描量热法。下文描述了差示扫描量热法的方法。对于X射线分析方法,参见U.S.2006/0024256 A1。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,在所述洗发剂组合物(即,所述ELD)中分散的凝胶网络相的标度尺寸从约10nm至约500nm范围。在另一个实施方案中,在所述洗发剂组合物中分散的凝胶网络相的标度尺寸在约0.5μm至约10μm的范围内。在另一个实施方案中,在所述洗发剂组合物中分散的凝胶网络相的标度尺寸在约10μm至约150μm的范围内。
在所述洗发剂组合物中分散的凝胶网络相的标度尺寸的分布可使用Horiba型LA 910激光散射粒径分布分析仪(Horiba仪,Inc.IrvineCalifornia,USA),用激光散射技术测量。本发明洗发剂组合物中的标度尺寸的分布可通过将1.75g的洗发剂组合物与30mL的3%NH4Cl、20mL的2%Na2HPO4·7H2O和10mL的1%月桂基聚氧乙烯醚-7混合以形成混合物来测量。然后将该混合物搅拌5分钟。当合乎所用的单独的Horiba仪之时,取在1mL至40mL范围内,包含75mL的3%NH4Cl、50mL的2%Na2HPO4·7H2O和25mL的1%月桂基聚氧乙烯醚-7的样本,然后注入到Horiba仪中,直至所述Horiba仪读数在88%T至92%T之间,标度尺寸测量所必须的时候。一旦获得该读数,2分钟循环经过Horiba仪后开始进行测量,以提供所述标度尺寸量度。使用所述洗发剂组合物的样本进行后续测量,所述样本被在存在于洗发剂组合物中所有脂肪物质的熔融转变温度以上加热,使得所述凝胶网络组分熔融。该后续的测量允许进行所述洗发剂中所有剩余物质的标度尺寸分布,然后可以与最初的样本的标度尺寸分布比较并参与分析。
本发明的洗发剂组合物包含分散的脂肪醇凝胶网络相(即,所述ELD相)的量,按所述洗发剂组合物重量计大于约0.1%,优选为约1%至约60%,并且更优选为约5%至约40%。
1.脂肪醇
本发明的凝胶网络组分包含至少一种脂肪醇。可选择单独的脂肪醇化合物或两个或更多个不同的脂肪醇化合物的组合,前提条件是以所述ELD的形式所得的分散的凝胶网络相(即,作为掺入并分散到最终洗发剂组合物中的相),依照差示扫描量热法测量,具有至少约38℃的熔融转变温度。所述熔融转变温度将在下文中更详细地论述。
适用于本发明的脂肪醇是具有约18至约70个碳原子的那些,并且在一个实施方案中,为约18至约60个碳原子,在另一个实施方案中为约18至约50个碳原子,在另一个实施方案中为约18至约40个碳原子,并且在另一个实施方案中为约18至约22个碳原子。这些脂肪醇可以为直链或支链醇,并且可以为饱和或不饱和的。合适的脂肪醇的非限制性实例包括硬脂醇、二十烷醇、二十二醇、C21脂肪醇(1-二十一醇)、C23脂肪醇(1-二十三醇)、C24脂肪醇(二十四烷醇、1-二十四烷醇)、C26脂肪醇(1-二十六醇)、C28脂肪醇(1-二十八醇)、C30脂肪醇(1-三十烷醇)、C20-40醇(例如,Performacol 350和425醇,得自New PhaseTechnologies)、C30-50醇(例如,Performacol 550醇)、C40-60醇(例如,Performacol 700醇)、以及它们的混合物。
包含一种或多种具有约18至约70个碳原子的脂肪醇的不同脂肪醇的混合物还可包含相当量的一种或多种脂肪醇,或其它具有少于约18个碳原子或大于约70个碳原子的脂肪两亲物也被认为是在本发明的范围内,前提条件是所得的分散的凝胶网络相具有至少约38℃的熔融转变温度。
上述适用于本发明的脂肪醇可以是天然或蔬菜来源,或它们可以是合成来源。
本发明的洗发剂组合物包含作为分散的凝胶网络相一部分的脂肪醇,其含量为按所述洗发剂组合物的重量计约0.05%至约14%,优选约0.5%至约10%,并且更优选约1%至约8%。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,凝胶网络组分中的脂肪醇对第二表面活性剂的重量比率大于约1∶9,优选大于约1∶5至约100∶1,更优选大于约1∶1至约50∶1。
2.分散的凝胶网络相熔融转变温度
依照本发明,所述分散的凝胶网络相依照差示扫描量热法测量具有至少约38℃的熔融转变温度。在一个实施方案中,所述分散的凝胶网络相具有约38℃至约80℃的熔融转变温度。在另一个实施方案中,所述分散的凝胶网络相具有约40℃至约60℃的熔融转变温度。在另一个实施方案中,所述分散的凝胶网络相具有约40℃至约55℃的熔融转变温度。在另一个实施方案中,所述分散的凝胶网络相具有约40℃至约50℃的熔融转变温度。
据信,在本发明所述洗发剂组合物中,一种或多种脂肪醇的使用导致具有至少约38℃的熔融转变温度的分散的凝胶网络相的形成。与包含具有低于约38℃的熔融转变温度的分散凝胶网络的洗发剂组合物相比,在有助于改善所述洗发剂组合物物理稳定性的同时,还令人惊奇地递送极好的干调理有益效果。
如上所述,合适的脂肪醇或不同脂肪醇混合物的选择提供了所得的具有至少约38℃的熔融转变温度的分散的凝胶网络相。另外,某些第二表面活性剂的选择可有助于获得至少约38℃的熔融转变温度的所得的分散的凝胶网络相。
可使用依照下列方法的差示扫描量热法获得分散的凝胶网络相的所述熔融转变温度。利用TA Instruments Q100 DSC,将大约50mg的凝胶网络预混物或包含凝胶网络的最终洗发剂组合物置于不锈钢高容积DSC中。将样本和空的参照盘一起置于仪器中。使用以下条件/温度程序分析样本:氮气吹扫,在5.00℃平衡,直至达到等温线2.00分钟。以3.00℃/min的速率使温度慢慢达到90.00℃。每个样本分析两次。所得的DSC数据使用TA Instruments Universal Analysis Software分析。
使用DSC测量凝胶网络的熔融过渡温度还由T.de Vringer等人的“Colloid and Polymer Science”第265卷,第448至457页(1987年);和H.M.Ribeiro等人的“Intl.J.of Cosmetic Science”第26卷,第47至59页(2004年)所描述。
3.第二表面活性剂
本发明的凝胶网络组分还包含第二表面活性剂。如本文所用,“第二表面活性剂”是指一种或多种表面活性剂,其与脂肪醇和水混合以形成本发明的凝胶网络,作为预混物从洗发剂组合物的其它组分中分离出来。所述第二表面活性剂从洗发剂组合物中分离出来,并且除了洗发剂组合物中去污表面活性剂组分。然而,所述第二表面活性剂可以是相同或不同类型的表面活性剂,或者是如上所述的去污表面活性剂,或者选自以上所述的去污表面活性剂的那些。
本发明的洗发剂组合物包含作为预成形的分散的凝胶网络相一部分的第二表面活性剂,其含量按所述洗发剂组合物的重量计为约0.01%至约15%,优选约0.1%至约10%,并且更优选约0.3%至约5%。
合适的第二表面活性剂包括阴离子、两性离子、两性、阳离子和非离子表面活性剂。优选地,所述第二表面活性剂选自阴离子、阳离子和非离子表面活性剂、以及它们的混合物。对于适用于本发明的第二表面活性剂另外的论述参见U.S.2006/0024256 A1。
此外,在本发明的一个实施例中,可选择具有链长为约16至约22个碳原子的具有疏水尾部基团的某些第二表面活性剂,有助于获得具有至少约38℃的熔融转变温度的所得的分散的凝胶网络相。对于上述第二表面活性剂,所述疏水尾部基团可以是烷基、链烯基(包含最多3个双键)、烷基芳族或支链的烷基。在这样的实施例中,优选所述第二表面活性剂存在于所述凝胶网络组分中,相对于所述脂肪醇的重量比率为约1∶5至约5∶1。
不止一种以上指定类型的表面活性剂混合物可用作本发明的第二表面活性剂。
4.水或合适的溶剂
本发明的凝胶网络组分还包含水或合适的溶剂。水或合适的溶剂和第二表面活性剂一起有助于脂肪醇的溶胀。这继而导致凝胶网络的形成和稳定。如本文所用,术语“合适的溶剂”是指可用于本发明凝胶网络之中的任何溶剂,或者与水结合用于本发明凝胶网络的形成中的任何溶剂。
本发明的洗发剂组合物包含作为预成形的分散的凝胶网络相一部分的水或合适的溶剂,其量为当依照本发明与脂肪醇和第二表面活性剂组合时适合形成凝胶网络的量。
在一个优选的实施方案中,本发明的洗发剂组合物包含按所述洗发剂组合物的重量计至少约0.05%的作为预成形的分散的凝胶网络相一部分的水或合适的溶剂。
在本发明的另一个实施方案中,洗发剂组合物以相对于脂肪醇至少约1∶1的重量比率的量包含作为预成形的分散的凝胶网络相一部分的水或合适的溶剂。
C.含水载体
本发明的洗发剂组合物包含含水载体。本发明的组合物典型为可倾倒的液体形式(在环境条件下)。因此,所述组合物包含含水载体,其含量按所述组合物的重量计为约20%至约95%,优选约60%至约85%。含水载体可包含水,或水与有机溶剂的易混溶的混合物,但优选包含水和最少或浓度不大的有机溶剂,除了另外作为其它必要或任选组分的微量组分附带地掺入组合物中的那些。
D.附加组分
本发明的组合物还可包含一种或多种已知用于护发或个人护理产品的任选组分,前提条件是该任选组分与本文所述基本组分物理和化学地相容,或不会不适当地损害产品的稳定性、美观性或性能。这样的任选组分的各自的浓度按所述组合物的重量计可为约0.001%至约10%。
用于该组合物的任选组分的非限制性实施例包括阳离子聚合物、调理剂(烃油、脂肪族酯、硅氧烷)、去头屑剂、悬浮剂、粘度改性剂、染料、非挥发性溶剂或稀释剂(水溶性和不溶性的)、珠光助剂、泡沫促进剂、额外的表面活性剂或非离子助表面活性剂、灭虱剂、pH调节剂、香料、防腐剂、螯合剂、蛋白质、皮肤活性剂、防晒剂、紫外线吸收剂和维生素。
1.沉积助剂
本发明的洗发剂组合物可包含沉积助剂。包含沉积助剂以有效地增强凝胶网络组分的沉积。沉积助剂可包含任何可增强凝胶网络从洗发剂中沉积到毛发和/或头皮上的物质。
洗发剂组合物中沉积助剂的浓度应足以有效增强凝胶网络组分的沉积,并且其范围按所述洗发剂组合物重量计为约0.05%至约5%,优选约0.075%至约2.5%,更优选约0.1%至约1.0%。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,沉积助剂为阳离子聚合物。优选的阳离子聚合物所具有的阳离子电荷密度在所述组合物欲使用的pH下为至少约0.9meq/g,优选至少约1.2meq/g,更优选至少约1.5meq/g,但同时优选小于约7meq/g,更优选小于约5meq/g。所述pH的范围通常将为约pH3至约pH9,优选介于约pH4和约pH8之间。本文所用术语聚合物的“阳离子电荷密度”是指聚合物上的正电荷数与所述聚合物分子量的比率。上述适宜阳离子聚合物的平均分子量通常介于约10,000至1千万之间,优选为介于约50,000至约5百万之间,更优选为介于约100,000至约3百万之间。
适用于组合物的阳离子聚合物包括多糖聚合物,如阳离子纤维素衍生物和阳离子淀粉衍生物,如羟乙基纤维素与三甲基铵取代的环氧化物反应生成的盐。其它合适的阳离子聚合物包括阳离子瓜耳胶衍生物,如瓜耳羟丙基三甲基氯化铵。也合适的阳离子聚合物包括具有基于单体对单体的甘露糖与半乳糖比率大于2∶1的半乳甘露聚糖聚合物衍生物,如桂皮胶羟丙基三甲基氯化铵。
2.分散的颗粒
本发明组合物可以包括分散的颗粒。用于本发明中的颗粒原先可以是无机的、合成的或半合成的。如果存在于本发明的组合物中,所掺入的分散颗粒的量按所述组合物的重量计为约0.025%至约20%,优选约0.05%至约10%,更优选约0.1%至约5%,甚至更优选约0.25%至约3%,并且还更优选约0.5%至约2%。
3.非离子聚合物
具有的分子量大于约1000的聚亚烷基二醇可用于本发明。可用的是具有以下通式的那些:
其中R95选自H、甲基以及它们的混合物。可用于本发明的聚乙二醇聚合物是PEG-2M(也称为Polyox WSR N-10,作为PEG-2,000得自Union Carbide)、PEG-5M(也称为Polyox WSR N-35和Polyox WSRN-80,作为PEG-5,000和聚乙二醇300,000得自Union Carbide)、PEG-7M(也称为Polyox WSR N-750,得自Union Carbide)、PEG-9M(也称为Polyox WSR N-3333,得自Union Carbide)和PEG-14M(也称为WSRN-3000,得自Union Carbide)。
4.附加的调理剂
除了分散的凝胶网络相以外,本发明的组合物还可包含一种或多种调理剂。调理剂包括用于向毛发和/或皮肤提供特定调理有益效果的物质。用于本发明组合物中的调理剂典型包括水不溶性、水分散性、非挥发性、可形成乳化液体颗粒的液体。适用于所述组合物中的调理剂是通常以硅氧烷(如硅氧烷油、阳离子硅氧烷、硅橡胶纯胶料、高折射硅氧烷和硅氧烷树脂)、有机调理油(如烃油、聚烯烃和脂肪族酯)或它们组合为特征的那些调理剂,或是在含水表面活性剂基质中另外形成液态可分散颗粒的那些调理剂。
在一个实施方案中,本发明所述洗发剂组合物还包含非挥发性的硅氧烷油。对于一个不透明组合物的实施例,所述洗发剂组合物包含具有粒度为约1μm至约50μm的非挥发性的硅氧烷油,所述粒度在所述洗发剂组合物中测量。本发明的一个向毛发施用小颗粒的实施方案中,所述洗发剂组合物包含具有粒度为约100nm至约1μm的非挥发性的硅氧烷油,所述粒度在所述洗发剂组合物中测量。对于实际上澄清组合物的实施例,所述洗发剂组合物包含具有粒度小于约100nm的非挥发性的硅氧烷油,所述粒度在所述洗发剂组合物中测量。
当存在时,按所述组合物重量计,所述一种或多种调理剂的量为约0.01%至约10%,优选为约0.1%至约8%,更优选为约0.2%至约4%。
所述调理剂可以存在于所述的分散的凝胶网络相中或可以作为单独的组分添加至最终的洗发剂组合物中,使得它们主要存在于洗发剂的连续相中。
5.去头皮屑活性物质
本发明的组合物还可包含去头皮屑活性物质。去头皮屑活性物质的适宜非限制性实例包括吡啶硫酮盐、唑类、硫化硒、颗粒状硫、角质层分离剂、以及它们的混合物。上述去头皮屑活性物质应该在物理和化学上与组合物的基本组分相容,并且不会不适当地破坏产品的稳定性、美观性或性能。
当存在于所述组合物中时,去头皮屑活性物质的含量按所述组合物重量计为约0.01%至约5%,优选约0.1%至约3%,并且更优选约0.3%至约2%。
6.湿润剂
本发明的组合物可以包含湿润剂。本发明的湿润剂选自多元醇、水溶性烷氧基化非离子聚合物以及它们的混合物。当用于本文时,润湿剂优选地以按所述组合物的重量计约0.1%至约20%,更优选约0.5%至约5%的量存在。
7.悬浮剂
本发明的组合物还可以包含悬浮剂,悬浮剂的浓度有效用于将水不溶性物质以分散形式悬浮在组合物中,或用于调节组合物的粘度。这样的浓度范围按所述组合物重量计为约0.1%至约10%,优选约0.3%至约5.0%。
可用于本发明的悬浮剂包括结晶的悬浮剂,它可以被分类为酰基衍生物、长链氧化胺、以及它们的混合物。这些悬浮剂描述于美国专利4,741,855中。这些优选的悬浮剂包括优选具有约16至约22个碳原子的脂肪酸乙二醇酯。更优选硬脂酸乙二醇酯,一硬脂酸酯和二硬脂酸酯均优选,但尤其优选包含少于约7%一硬脂酸酯的二硬脂酸酯。
8.其它任选组分
本发明的组合物可包含其它任选组分。任选组分可存在于分散的凝胶网络相中,或者可作为单独组分加入最终的洗发剂组合物中。
例如,本发明的组合物可包含水溶性和水不溶性的维生素,如维生素B1、B2、B6、B12、C、泛酸、泛基乙基醚、泛醇、生物素及其衍生物、和维生素A、D、E、以及它们的衍生物。本发明组合物还可包含水溶性和水不溶性的氨基酸,如天冬酰胺、丙氨酸、吲哚、谷氨酸及其盐、和酪氨酸、色胺、赖氨酸、组氨酸、以及它们的盐。本发明组合物还可包含用于防止毛发损失的物质和毛发生长刺激物或毛发生长刺激剂。

当某些油溶的组分,如香料和芳香剂、氨基酸、水不溶性的维生素等等,存在于所述分散的凝胶网络相中的时候,或者通过将上述组分直接掺入到所述凝胶网络组分预混物或者单独掺入到所述洗发剂组合物并因此一定量的上述组分在平衡过程中迁移到所述分散的凝胶网络相中的时候,它们可有效地沉积在毛发和/或皮肤上。通过它们存在于所述分散的凝胶网络相中而获得油溶的组分在毛发和/或皮肤上非常有效的沉积,包含不少于约60%的具有约3或更高的Clog P的成分的油溶的组分组合物是优选的。对于关于Clog P的进一步论述以及如何就多种物质确定其数值,参见例如美国专利5,849,310和5,500,154以及EP 1 533 364。
E.制备洗发剂组合物的方法
本发明的一个方面涉及一种制备本发明的洗发剂组合物的方法。制备洗发剂组合物的方法包括:(a)在足以使第二表面活性剂和水分配到脂肪醇中的温度下,混合脂肪醇、第二表面活性剂和水以形成预混物;(b)将该预混物冷却至脂肪醇的链熔融温度以下以形成凝胶网络;(c)将该凝胶网络加到一种或多种去污表面活性剂和含水载体中以形成洗发剂组合物,所述的组合物包含具有至少约38℃的熔融转变温度的凝胶网络相。
如上所述,在本发明的一个实施方案中,将凝胶网络组分制备成单独的预混物,其在冷却后,接着与洗发剂组合物的其它组分混合。更具体地讲,本发明的凝胶网络组分可通过将脂肪醇、第二表面活性剂和水加热到约75℃至约90℃的温度范围内并且混合而制备。通过例如将所述混合物通过热交换器,将该混合物冷却到约27℃至约35℃的温度范围内。作为该冷却步骤的结果,至少约百分之五十的所述脂肪醇和所述第二表面活性剂混合物结晶形成结晶的凝胶网络。
制备凝胶网络组分的可供选择的方法包括超声波降解和/或研磨脂肪醇、第二表面活性剂和水,同时加热这些组分,以减小熔融的脂肪醇相的粒度。这导致脂肪醇相的表面积增加,其使得第二表面活性剂和水使脂肪醇相溶胀。制备凝胶网络的另一种合适的变型包括首先加热和混合脂肪醇和第二表面活性剂,然后将该混合物加到水中。
F.使用方法
以常规方式使用本发明的组合物,以清洁和调理毛发或皮肤,包括头皮、面部和身体。通常,本发明处理毛发或皮肤的方法包括将本发明的组合物施用于毛发或皮肤。更具体地讲,将有效量的所述组合物施用到优选已用水润湿的毛发或皮肤上,然后将所述组合物冲洗掉。该有效量范围通常为约1g至约50g,优选为约1g至约20g。对毛发的施用典型地包括将组合物施用到整个毛发以使大部分或所有毛发与组合物接触。
用于处理毛发或皮肤的方法包括以下步骤:(a)用水润湿毛发或皮肤;(b)向毛发或皮肤施用有效量的洗发剂组合物;和(c)用水漂洗皮肤或毛发的施用区域。这些步骤可以按需要重复多次,以达到所需的清洁和调理有益效果。
在一个实施方案中,本发明的洗发剂组合物有利地用来处理受损毛发。受损毛发可包括选自烫过的毛发、氧化着色的毛发和机械损伤的毛发的毛发。
在另一个实施方案中,洗发剂组合物用来处理皮肤,如头皮、面部和身体。
此发明的洗发剂组合物可作为液体、固体、半固体、薄片、凝胶使用,可放置于加有推进剂的加压容器中,或以泵式喷雾形式使用。选择所述产品的粘度,以适合所需的形式。
非限制性实例
如下实施例中举例说明的洗发剂组合物举例说明了本发明洗发剂组合物的具体实施方案,但不是旨在对其进行限制。在不背离本发明精神和范围的条件下,技术人员可以进行其它的改变。本发明洗发剂组合物的这些示例的实施方案为毛发提供增强的调理有益效果。
如下实施例中举例说明的洗发剂组合物通过常规配制和混合方法制备,其中的一个实施例如下文所述。除非另外指明,所有示例的量以重量百分比列出,除了微量组分以外,如稀释剂、防腐剂、有色溶液、假想成分、植物药物等。除非另外指明,所有百分比均基于重量。
凝胶网络预混物的制备
为了制备凝胶网络预混物,将约20%的水加热至约74℃,并且将所述脂肪醇和第二表面活性剂(例如,二十二烷基三甲基氯化铵(Varisoft BT-85)或月桂基聚氧乙烯醚硫酸钠)加入其中。加入之后,将该混合物通过研磨机和热交换器,在其中将它冷却到约35℃。该冷却步骤的结果是脂肪醇、第二表面活性剂和水形成结晶凝胶网络。

最终洗发剂组合物的制备
为了制备最终的洗发剂组合物,首先形成表面活性剂溶液预混物。为了制备该表面活性剂溶液预混物,将约6%至约9%的月桂基聚氧乙烯醚-3硫酸钠或月桂基聚氧乙烯醚-3硫酸铵、阳离子聚合物和约0%至约5%的水在搅拌下加入加套的混合罐中,并且加热至约74℃。向罐中的该溶液中加入柠檬酸、柠檬酸钠、苯甲酸钠和乙二胺四乙酸二钠,并使其分散。然后将乙二醇二硬脂酸酯(EGDS)加到混合容器中并且熔化。在EGDS被完全分散后(例如,约10分钟后),将防腐剂加入并且混合到表面活性剂溶液中。这种混合物穿过研磨机和换热器,它在换热器中冷却至约35℃,然后被收集在整理罐中。该冷却步骤的结果是,EGDS结晶以形成蜡质结晶悬浮液。这些组分的混合物为表面活性剂溶液预混物。
接下来,将如上所述制备的表面活性剂溶液预混物和凝胶网络预混物混合在一起。在充分搅拌下加入剩余的表面活性剂、香料、聚二甲基硅氧烷、氯化钠或用于粘度调节的二甲苯磺酸铵、以及剩余的水以确保均匀的混合物。该混合物为最终的洗发剂组合物,其包含作为分散相的凝胶网络预混物。
依照本发明的最终洗发剂组合物的优选粘度,在27℃下当用Wells-Brookfield型RVTDCP粘度计测量时(使用CP-41锥,并且板在3分钟处为2/s),其范围为约5Pa.s(5000cP)至约15Pa.s(15,000厘泊)。
必要时可调节pH以提供适于施用到人的毛发上的本发明洗发剂组合物,并且可基于具体的去污表面活性剂、脂肪醇和/或其它组分的选择而变化。

Claims (14)
1.一种洗发剂组合物,所述洗发剂组合物包含:
a)按所述洗发剂组合物的重量计5%至50%的一种或多种去污表面活性剂;
b)分散的凝胶网络相,所述凝胶网络相包含:
i)按所述洗发剂组合物的重量计至少0.05%的一种或多种脂肪醇;
ii)按所述洗发剂组合物的重量计至少0.01%的一种或多种选自的阴离子表面活性剂的第二表面活性剂;和
iii)水;和
c)按所述洗发剂组合物的重量计至少20%的含水载体;
其中依照差示扫描量热法测量,所述分散的凝胶网络相具有40℃至60℃的熔融转变温度,
而且其中所述脂肪醇选自二十烷醇、二十二醇和其混合物。
2.如权利要求1所述的洗发剂组合物,其中所述分散的凝胶网络相以按所述洗发剂组合物的重量计1%至60%的量存在。
3.如权利要求1所述的洗发剂组合物,其中所述分散的凝胶网络相具有在所述洗发剂组合物中测得的10nm至500nm的标度尺寸。
