Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines bakteriziden Salieylanilides. (xegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines bakteriziden Salicy lanilides. Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass. man 1 Mol 5-Brom-2-oxy- benzol-l-carbonsäure auf 1 Mol 2,3,4-Trichlor- anilin einwirken lässt. Die erhaltene neue Verbindung,
das 5- Brom - 2 - oxy - benzoy 1- 2',3',4'- trichlor - anilid, schmilzt bei 245-246 . Sie soll als Desinfek tionsmittel für nicht arzneiliche Zwecke Ver wendung finden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 22 Teile 5-Brom-2-oxy-benzol-l-carbonsäure, <B>19,5</B> Teile 2,3,4-Trichlor-anilin, 0,4 Teile Alu miniumchlorid und 6 Teile Phosphortriehlorid werden in 400 Volumteilen Chlorbenzol suspen- diert und so lange zum Sieden erhitzt, bis klare Lösung eingetreten ist. Es wird heiss filtriert, mit Soda neutralisiert und das Lö sungsmittel mit Wasserdampf abgetrieben.
Das aus Butylalkohol umkristallisierte 5- Brom-2-oxy-benzoyl - 2',3',4'- trichlor - anilid schmilzt bei 245-246 .
