Abstract

Un método de extracción de ARN de sistemas biológicos (células, fragmentos de células, organelos, tejidos, órganos u organismos) en donde la solución que contiene ARN se pone en contacto con un sustrato al cual se puede unir el ARN; el ARN es retirado del sustrato al aplicar una presión negativa; la etapa de centrifugación no excede los treinta segundos; preferiblemente, el ARN es diluido antes de la filtración y una o más etapas de lavado se pueden usar para retirar elementos de interferencia; en tal método, excepto para las etapas de división y secado de ADN, la centrifugación no se utiliza durante la etapa de extracción.
