Abstract
Utilizando las técnicas de polimerización en fase vapor se logran numerosas ventajas distintivas y altamente beneficiosas. Describe másespecíficamente, un método para polimerizar 1,3-butadieno en cis-1,4- polibutdieno quecomprend e los siguientes pasos: (1) cargas dicho 1,3-butadieno; un sistema catalizador que comprende (a) un compuesto de organoaluminio, (b) un compuesto que contiene níquel soluble y (c) fluoruro dehidrógeno o un complejo de fluorurode hidrógen o en una zona de reacción; donde el 1,3-butadieno se mantiene en la fase vapor en dicha zona de reacción; (2)permitir que dicho 1,3-butadieno polimerice en un cis-1,4-polibutadieno alto a una temperatura dentro del rango entrelos 10 grados C hasta 130 gradosC; y (3) retirar dicho cis-1,4-polibutadieno alto de dicha zona de reacción.
