The aim of the publication is to identify the reason for using an Excel spreadsheet to supplement the functionality of an
advanced ERP system. Object-oriented research using the guided interview method was conducted with the managers of the
company, as well as with the staff overseeing the empowerment process for product components in the ERP system. The
managers showed little interest in being able to refine the functionality of some modules of the software used. This proved to
be particularly relevant in the case of the supervision of the production process. The results of the study refer to the case
found only in the studied facility. However, the situation in which one of the most advanced ERP systems is used in a
company and is supplemented by a spreadsheet in a complex process prompted the authors to present their findings. It seems
that regardless of the technological sophistication of the manufacturing processes used and the software used to manage all
aspects of the company, the most important ingredient is a competent, trained workforce at all levels of management. It is
also possible to improve the organisation in other companies by relieving lower-level staff of the burden of prolonged Excel
work. Sometimes there is a much more effective possibility to use existing system software, which can be adapted after a few
years to constantly changing conditions in the processes being supervised.

This paper investigates the capability of Kinect sensor as interactive technology and discusses how it can assist and improve teaching and learning. The Kinect sensor is a motion sensor that provides a natural user interface. It was implemented by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 video-game console to create a new control-free experience for the user without any intermediary device. The Kinect sensor can enhance kinesthetic pedagogical practices to profit learners with strong bodily-kinesthetic intelligence (body smart). As a learning tool, the Kinect sensor has potential to create interactive games, to increase learner motivation, and to enhance learning efficiency via its multimedia and multisensory capacity. Many students must learn spatial skills to improve learning achievement in science, mathematics, and engineering. This paper will focus on developing the Kinect sensor-assisted game-based learning system with ARCS model to provide kinesthetic pedagogical practices for learning spat...

Hygiene maintenance plays an important role in our daily life and thus the importance of related cleaning Products comes into the scenario. Simply cleanliness is a key to healthy lifestyle. Cleaning Products helps in removing dirt, soil, and grease, dust microorganisms from biological and non-biological surfaces. In the market, there are many types of cleaning products, which include personal care, skincare, and hair care and home care segment. Such product include Soaps, shampoos, face wash, intimate hygiene wash, toothpastes, detergents, floor cleaners, multi-surface cleaners, toilet cleaners, lime scale removers, air fresheners, sanitizers, kitchen Cleaners, acids, dishwashers, etc. It is important and necessary to have a natural and healthy cleaning routine in todays polluted and contaminated environment, unfortunately, we humans conveniently tend to be more dependent on harsh cleaning products. Biological Accidents like coronavirus made us believe in the role of cleaning products more significantly hence penetrating our casual mindset to a disciplined cleaning routine at home and offices. As a result, cleaning product' use has increased by 40% in homes, hospitals, workplaces, schools, colleges, public places, etc. As the frequency of home care maintenance is higher of all, its side effect need to be studied and analyzed As we know everything in this world has its own pros and cons, so is applicable to cleaning products. Some harmful ingredients used in household cleaning products are alcohol (ethanol), ammonia, inorganic chlorine compounds (bleach), oxidizers (hydrogen peroxides), phenols, chlorine, phthalates, parabens, phosphates which are hazardous to human as well as environment. Disposal of such chemicals in atmosphere (water, land and air) leads to severe environmental, Social, economic and health consequences, some of the after effects of regular use of Cleaning products hazards are ocean acidification, water pollutions, landfills, allergy contact dermatitis, carcinogen, respiratory issues etc1. Almost all cleaning product industries are using plastic packaging which lead to terrestrial and aquatic plastic toxicity. Awareness of such dangerous chemicals and plastic packaging as time bomb which can blast anytime affecting humankind permanently is the starting point to reduce its effect on the upcoming generation. Hence Introduction of Safe, ecofriendly, nontoxic, natural products is the need of hour.

The goal of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), also known as the "New Silk Road" or the "Silk Road Economic Belt," is to improve global connectivity by reviving ancient trade routes. The BRI is a network of land and sea routes that crosses Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The "Road" refers to the Maritime Silk Road, which connects China's southern coast to Africa, the Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia by sea. The "Belt" is the Silk Road Economic Belt, which connects China to Central Asia and Europe by land. To enable trade over the contemporary Silk Road, the program calls for the construction of ports, pipelines, bridges, electricity grids, and railroads. Despite the ambitious goals and potential benefits of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), there exist significant impacts and challenges that need to be addressed. These include concerns related to sovereignty, debt sustainability, geopolitical tensions, and the potential for unequal economic benefits among participating countries. This paper aims to analyse these diplomatic impacts and challenges in the context of China's BRI, shedding light on its implications for global trade dynamics and international relations. Furthermore, examining how other Western countries are responding with their infrastructure plans in the face of China's BRI adds a comparative perspective to this complex global phenomenon. The research methodology employed in this paper involves a comprehensive review and analysis of existing literature, including academic studies, policy papers, and media reports, to examine the diplomatic impacts and challenges associated with China's Belt and Road Initiative. By synthesizing insights from diverse sources, this study provides a nuanced understanding of the complexities surrounding the BRI and its implications for global trade and diplomacy.

Over the past decade, a gradual shift towards digitalization in finance has merged with datafication and innovative
technologies like cloud computing, blockchain, big data, and artificial intelligence, ushering in the era of FinTech (financial
technology). This transformation is occurring in established global markets and sometimes even more rapidly in emerging
and developing economies. Consequently, cybersecurity and technological risks have evolved into significant threats to both
financial stability and national security. Furthermore, the entry of prominent tech companies into the financial realm,
known as TechFins, introduces two novel concerns, the first pertains to the emergence of potentially systemically important
infrastructure, such as data and cloud service providers, the second revolves around the concentration of data, resembling
the finance sector, which possesses economies of scale and network effects, potentially leading to systemic risk through new
forms of "Too Big to Fail" and "Too Connected to Fail" scenarios. In conclusion, we propose fundamental principles for
monitoring and addressing these risks, with a specific focus on the role of regulatory technology (RegTech).

The study investigated the impact of alcohol/ethanol ingestion on lawyers' recall of essential materials. Seventy-five lawyers, aged 27-59, from Awka, Onitsha, and Nnewi, Anambra state, Nigeria, were divided into two groups: those who were given alcohol/ethanol and those who were given non-alcohol/ethanol. The experiment involved an independent group design with an audio recorder, red label brandy, La Casera soft drink, and a poem CD. Participants were expected to listen, memorise, and recall keywords. The Z-test was used for analysis, and results showed no significant impact of alcohol/ethanol on immediate recall of meaningful materials between alcohol/ethanol Lawyer consumers. The study found no significant impact of alcohol/ethanol on delayed recall of meaningful materials, immediate recall, or delayed recall across lawyers' genders. However, there was a significant difference in the extent of delayed recall outcomes across lawyers' genders. The study recommends installing alcohol detectors in all courtrooms to eliminate its influence on judiciary deliberations.

The main objective of this study was to examine the correlation between competitive intelligence and performance in the postpandemic era. Specifically, the study examined the extent of the relationship between innovative intelligence and cost leadership, the nature of correlation between market intelligence and growth; and the relationship between strategic intelligence and adaptability. The study used both primary and secondary data. The target population for the study was 122 members of staff from INNOSON Technical and Industrial Company Limited, based in Enugu State, Nigeria. Data was collected from 104 purposively selected staff of INNOSON and analyzed using regression analysis with the aid of SPSS 23.0. The results indicate that innovative intelligence, marketing intelligence, and strategic intelligence had a significant and positive correlation with organizational performance, through their connections with cost leadership, growth and adaptability, respectively. From the results, the study concludes that competitive intelligence is a key driver of performance in the automotive industry. Based on the findings and conclusion, it was recommended that organizations should develop a culture of innovation through adequate investment in research and development as well as rewarding creative and intelligent employees; this will consequently arm the organization with cost leadership. Forward-thinking organizations that seek growth must develop a robust system of collecting and analyzing data from their market, and the information gathered must be used in the decision-making processes of the organization especially as it affects strategy formulation and implementation.

Educators throughout the world are becoming increasingly concerned about the trend of declining mathematics performance among senior high school students. Mathematics anxiety is one such factor that has an impact on students' performance. This specific factor has been shown to have the greatest impact on mathematical performance. Several studies have been conducted to explore the link between mathematics anxiety and performance, with varied results. Some claim that greater levels of mathematics anxiety result in poorer mathematics scores because pupils are unable to focus on anything math-related (Altakhyneh, 2020). Others have argued that higher mathematics anxiety leads to higher mathematics scores (Paechter et al., 2017). Because of the disparities in the findings, numerous further studies have been conducted to explore the link between mathematical performance and anxiety. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between mathematics anxiety, social support, technology support and performance of grade 11 students from schools of public and private sectors in Imus, Dasmariñas, and Bacoor as motivated by their motivational beliefs. This study employed quantitative method for data analysis of the relationships. The study used evaluation tools developed by previous authors who investigated the same issue to measure mathematics anxiety, social support, technology support, and performance. Results from the data analysis show that all independent variables are shown to have a significant relationship with mathematics performance. The only peculiarity is that peer social support is not significant despite social support as a whole being a significant predictor for mathematics performance.

The success of a tertiary educational institution's graduates on professional licensing exams is one of the most reliable indicators of the educational quality that the institution provides. For many years, the Philippines have produced many engineering graduates; however, in recent years, roughly 50% successfully passed the board exams required for licensure as engineers. The challenge that many higher educational institutions face is making all their engineering programs' passing rates improve and surpass the national passing rate. This study intended to develop a mathematical model capable of forecasting the performance of BSCE and BSME graduates from a private higher educational institution in the Philippines in the licensure examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The researcher implemented a descriptive correlational research design. The graduates' academic performance and enrollment in a review center were assessed through descriptive statistics, which includes means, standard deviations, frequency, and percentages. Academic performance includes grades in courses tested by PRC in BSCE and BSME licensure examinations, which include mathematics and engineering courses. It also involves grades in purposive communication and integration courses. Pearson moment correlations, and ETA, were applied in determining the correlation of variables. Moreover, the strongest predictors of the Licensure Exam Areas 1, 2, and 3 were determined using stepwise regression, and mathematical models were developed using multiple linear regression. Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) was used to assess the models' predictive power. The result of the research is intended to serve as a helpful guide and basis for the school in preparing students for the licensure examination and a credible input for the institution's curriculum enhancement.

The paper is a deep dive into literature and scholarship on sustainable development. The purpose is to identify emerging research themes that are of growing interest to scholars on sustainability with particular emphasis on management and public policy literature, and the methodology is three-pronged, comprising the following: a content analysis of sustainability scholarship, tracking of patterns and trends over a two-decade period to delineate specific findings, and an exploration of the learnings from the literature review. We have trained our focus largely on the disciplines of management and public policy. The attempt is to distinguish the ideas, the orientation, and the direction of sustainability research longitudinally over time. The paper presents several interesting learnings growing cross-disciplinary trends in sustainability research, the evolutionary nature of sustainability studies, the induction of emerging economies into sustainable development and its reflection in research studies, theorising and the development of frameworks, creation of knowledge and information hubs in industry and the episodic movement from precepts and principles; to protocols and policy; and to practice process, and performance. By suggesting a novel approach to perceiving and classifying sustainability research over time, presenting frameworks for theory building in this field of study, and proposing fruitful areas for future research, we contribute to the body of relevant literature.

The purpose of this case study is to examine the practices used by six physics teachers in solving non-routine problems and
how these approaches connect to the teaching of real-world applications of mathematics. A qualitative analysis of the data
revealed that these respondents constantly went around the tables, observed students at work, expressed amazement at their
ideas, gave students time to think through the problem at hand, and helped struggling students by probing them and showing
them how to solve challenging problems. Very frequently the respondents pose intriguing questions, facilitate group work in
the classroom, have class discussions in plenary, and assign individual projects that allow students to investigate novel issues
and consider different approaches to their solution. Occasionally, when a student takes longer than expected to solve a
problem, the respondent solves the problem on the board. The respondent also expects the student to come up with a
challenging strategy, address the mistakes of the student, let the student work through problems on their own, and determine
when the student is moving too slowly toward solving the problem. As a result of the frequent use of non-routine problems in
physics classes, problem-solving techniques are employed by physics teachers as a goal. Problems should be well-structured,
meaning they should have a single solution that can be applied to solve real-world problems when using the appropriate tool,
such as mathematics. Examples supporting these findings are provided in this report, which ends with recommendations for
practical mathematics instruction.

Effective writing in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) context heavily relies on the utilization of cognitive writing strategies. Understanding the link between these strategies and writing achievement is crucial for improving instruction and assessment. This study explores the cognitive writing strategies employed by 89 EFL students in their fourth semester, specifically focusing on argumentative essays at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in El Jadida, Morocco. The primary objective is to examine differences in writing achievement levels based on strategy use and investigate the relationship between writing achievement and the application of writing strategies. To conduct this research, a quantitative approach was adopted, employing a Likert scale questionnaire and an argumentative writing test. The results of the study reveal that pre-writing, revising, and while-writing strategies are frequently employed by the participants. Although there were no notable variations in strategy usage across different levels of achievement, the findings suggest a slight positive connection. This implies that higher levels of achievement tend to be linked to a more extensive use of writing strategies. This research contributes valuable insights into the interplay between cognitive writing strategies and writing achievement, providing implications for both EFL instruction and assessment methodologies.

Maritime transport is of great importance in our country, which is surrounded by seas on three sides. Thanks to the many ports in our country, maritime trade has an important place in our country. Ports are one of the key points of our country's maritime trade and transportation. Mersin Port, which is a gateway to the Mediterranean and the Middle East, is one of these key points. In this study, the maritime transport realized in Mersin Port and the maritime transports realized in our country were examined. There are multiple different ways and methods of exporting. One of these is exporting by sea transportation. Sea transport exports are actually the largest in terms of export methods and the cheapest. Perhaps the only downside is that it arrives a little later than air export or land export. However, while you have to make more than one shipment with other export routes, the fact that you will do it at once with maritime transport exports reveals that it is more advantageous than other ways.

This paper studies the effect of savings and female labor force participation on Gross domestic product (GDP) in Saudi Arabia
and Kuwait. These countries were selected for study since they are experiencing tremendous change in female labor force
participation in their total workforce and increase in the savings rate, affecting GDP growth, during the period 1999-2019. It was
observed that very few studies have examined these factors. The study uses data from world development indicators. The method
used to analyze and examine the data is an E-views program and simple regression analysis. It was seen that savings had a
positive impact on GDP in both countries. Female labor force participation has a negative impact in Kuwait and a positive one in
Saudi Arabia. Kuwait has less negative savings as compared to Saudi Arabia. Also, Kuwait has a greater number of females in
the male-female ratio. Thus, the study emphasizes the increase in savings created a positive impact on GDP in both countries but in
Kuwait due to a greater number of females in the total population, savings has less positive impact on GDP compared to Saudi
Arabia.

This survey has been taken to understand how young budding entrepreneurs' viewpoint is on the pricing strategies, which is embodied in the current market scenario. As prices are the foundational segment any business's revenue, selecting the optimal pricing strategy is quite challenging task for every business as this pricing strategy impacts the growth of the firm and the expansion process. The pricing strategies can be set to achieve various objectives such as winning a large market share or to discourage competitors from entering the market. Taking the fundamental pricing strategies into consideration the penetration pricing and skimming pricing achieve different objectives such as obtaining large market share and premium brand recognition respectively [1]. So out of the various dynamic strategies what is contributing to the organisational growth and successful expansion is debatable as some consumers likely to associate less expensive products with cheap quality and the products of a higher price will tend to be associated with higher value [2]. Under this survey the awareness level on the basic pricing strategies called the skimming and penetration pricing is conducted among the young entrepreneurs. This study aims to evaluate the impact of pricing strategy stimulating market growth which leads to expansion and also to study how challenging to select penetration pricing strategy in order to win large market share. Effort has also to been taken to offer suggestion to improve on choosing the best pricing strategies. The young budding entrepreneur's insights on the impact of pricing strategy is collected in this survey. A strong association between pricing tactics and the age, gender, and educational background of the young aspiring entrepreneurs was discovered through this lengthy investigation. It has also been demonstrated that choosing a pricing strategy for gaining a sizable market share is rather difficult. Additionally, it is shown that the skimming price strategy and market expansion and growth are strongly related [3].

The concept of VUCA, which emerged for the first time by the US military at the end of the Cold War, is used to describe the business world full of uncertainties today. The world is now more volatile and uncertain due to the epidemic, quarantine, political events, fluctuations in the economy and digital transformation. Leadership plays a critical role in the VUCA world. Leaders face unprecedented challenges as they navigate uncharted waters in this environment of volatility, uncertainty and complexity. COVID-19 is not only a very important public health issue affecting entire countries throughout the world; it is also wreaking havoc on corporate sectors. To assist leaders in managing and resolving the challenges and problems that the epidemic has posed to their organizations. Leaders may be able to fully comprehend those developments and their implications for their businesses, and then devise methods to deal with them in such a fast-changing and unpredictable world. Successful leaders can design their tactics for leading in this awful situation using a variety of VUCA models. It is an important body of knowledge for understanding and adapting to the world of VUCA, turning threats into opportunities. Especially with the pandemic period, it has become more important for managers to be able to manage remote teams, lead change and cope with uncertainty. In this regard, this research study aimed to discuss about VUCA and the international labor organization in the COVID-19 Pandemic.

An object of Section 295(a) Indian Penal Code is to restraint acts that outrage religious sentiments or hurt religious feelings. This section speaks about intentional and malicious acts which deliberately and maliciously, intended to outrage religious feelings. Under IPC, 1860 it is a criminal offense to insult or try to insult religious beliefs through words, writing, signs, or any other form of visible communication. Offence is Cognizable, Non-bailable and non-compoundable. In the Lense of Article 19(1) (a) freedom of speech and expression, but the clause of the article talks about "reasonable restrictions." When we look at the constitutional aspect of Section 295A, we see that it falls under the "reasonable restriction" of the Article 19, which says that no one should use the fundamental right to freedom of speech and expression to insult or hurt the religious feelings of any group and the offence is punishable. At the same time, Intention is one of the essentials of this section and identifying malicious intention in the commission of offence is a challenging task. Article 21 of the Constitution says that freedom of speech is based on the right to speak responsibly. One of the hardest things about the autonomy and free speech principles is ensuring that this freedom is not used in a way that hurts an individual or a group of people who are already struggling. Many things concerning this provision are ambiguous and need to be examined.

Banks were always regarded as a place with long queues, and an unmanageable amount of paperwork. But due to technological
advancements in the banking sector, the need for labour and paper works has reduced a lot. Also, another important perspective
is that it can protect the data and provide complete security and safety to the transactions.
Banking institutions just like other types of businesses face risks. Cyber security risk is the most prevalent risk which may arise
from a range of both internal and external factors. Coming up with the right solutions allows banking institutions to stay in
business and retain the trust of the public.
The purpose of the study is to analyse privacy and security in the banking sector. The study further examines the banking
customers' perception towards security and privacy concern and their satisfaction towards Privacy and security regarding the use
of banking services.

The study investigated self-efficacy, hope, and optimism as predictors of organisational commitment among Nigerian broadcast
professionals. A cross-sectional survey technique was used in the study, with a sample of 100 respondents drawn using accidental
sampling techniques from three Nigerian stations: Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Anambra State Broadcasting Service
(ABS), and Imo State Broadcasting Corporation (IBC). Self-efficacy (r =.22), hope (r =.24), and optimism (r =.30) were found to
be significantly correlated with organisational commitment. The multiple linear regression analysis revealed that predictor
variables accounted for 25% of respondents' organisational commitment variance, with an adjusted R square of 251. In the
regression equation model, hope (=.17, P<.01) and optimism (=.20; P< .001) were significantly and positively correlated with
organisational commitment (=28.60.P<001). Using the Generalize Self-Efficacy Scale, State Hope Scale, and Optimism Scale,
the study recommends the adoption of self-efficacy, hope, and optimism as predictors of respondents' organisational
commitment

This study examines the performance of different macroeconomic indicators, their fluctuations between stock indexes in Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSX) also comparative study between them. This data is collected on eight specified macroeconomic variables which are: interest rate (IR), inflations (IF), GDP growth, export (EXP), import (IMP), unemployment(UR), (BSX) and (PSX) index. In this research paper, a comparative study has been developed between India and Pakistan with using estimation strategy. Regression analysis and correlations must be used. Data collected from WDI and describe through descriptive statistics. E-views, State software used for analysis. Secondary data must be drawn from Pakistan and India and every economy factors as describing the Indian and Pakistan economy. The empirical results indicate that there is a significant pricing relationship between PSX and BSX 100 indexes and the tested macroeconomic variables; have a significant in explaining the stock market fluctuations in various portfolios. The paper conclusively established that indexes fluctuations are depend upon the change of economic indicators both India and Pakistan. This is helpful for investors, financial management consultants, and policy makers for decision making. Due to limitation of time, data size is kept small. The only data used for analysis is from 1990-2016. Results help the employees and over the counter investor for understanding about macroeconomic indicators rates and stock market pricing fluctuations effected on economy as well as constructions about stock market performance. Additionally, this study adds value to the literature by exploring interest regarding economy conditions.

As a result of the ancient civilization in the Middle East, conflicts are ongoing and never ended. Therefore, the main reasons for the conflicts in the Middle East can be listed as geographical, religious, economic, political, and the desire for independence, and these reasons are difficult to understand as they are intertwined. The fact that the Middle East has the world's largest oil reserves, that it is geographically connected to three continents, and that it is the center of maritime trade gates increases foreign countries' interest in the Middle East. When we look specifically at the last twenty-two years, we see a succession of events, especially the events of September 11, 2001, and the events leading up to that date. The purpose of this research is to examine the course of the attacks and the relationship between Afghanistan and the United States before the events of September 11, 2001. Altogether, the main reasons political order within Afghanistan has been evasive, are the 1979 Soviet Union invasion which led to the 9/11/2001 attack, and the last two decades regarding the United States strategy.

The relationship and cooperation between logistics and technology are increasing day by day and new transportation methods are being introduced for the needs of the sector. Considering that the competition between companies is increasing day by day, different technologies used in logistics and logistics have also become frequently preferred. For the operations to be carried out, different transportation modes, mainly road, rail, sea, and air, are preferred according to the characteristics, weights, and dimensions of the products. In case the products to be transported are in special cargo status, some points should be paid special attention to during transportation. Special tools and equipment are used if the products have explosive or flammable properties defined as dangerous. In the transportation of perishable products, which has been carried out frequently in the recent period, transportation vehicles that will protect the transported product from external environmental conditions should be used. These types of vehicles used to transport products have a close relationship with technology. The vehicles used in the transportation of the products, which have an important place among the logistics technologies, have gathered different equipment according to the purpose of use. In this study, Logistics for logistics activities Information Systems will be examined.

Pandemics have always posed a great problem in the history of the world, leading to fatal dangers, which is why mathematicians have been challenged to bring their contribution to the management of pandemics, by applying their theoretical paradigms in describing, studying and forecasting their evolution. Compartmental models, i.e. exponential systems, have been remarkable for studying the spread of epidemics. This paper has three objectives: to purpose a generalization of the SEIRV (Susceptible-Exposed-Infected-Recovered-Vaccinated) model for studying the spread of an epidemics and simulation; to present conditions of existence for a solution to the purposed generalized SEIRV model; and to calculate the reproduction number in certain state conditions of the analyzed dynamic system. The conclusions are that, generally, mathematical models with many parameters can be used to forecast epidemics with better accuracy and, also, the elements from the theory of fixed points for multivalued operators can be used for the analysis of epidemics.

The study investigated self-efficacy, hope, and optimism as predictors of organisational commitment among Nigerian broadcast professionals. A cross-sectional survey technique was used in the study, with a sample of 100 respondents drawn using accidental sampling techniques from three Nigerian stations: Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Anambra State Broadcasting Service (ABS), and Imo State Broadcasting Corporation (IBC). Self-efficacy (r =.22), hope (r =.24), and optimism (r =.30) were found to be significantly correlated with organisational commitment. The multiple linear regression analysis revealed that predictor variables accounted for 25% of respondents' organisational commitment variance, with an adjusted R square of 251. In the regression equation model, hope (=.17, P<.01) and optimism (=.20; P< .001) were significantly and positively correlated with organisational commitment (=28.60.P<001). Using the Generalize Self-Efficacy Scale, State Hope Scale, and Optimism Scale, the study recommends the adoption of self-efficacy, hope, and optimism as predictors of respondents' organisational commitment.

Introduction: The paper discusses the role of the social, geographical and political environment which could be responsible within and among the countries to maintain peace. The broad focus would be on the evolution of these factors and their impact on national and international peace. Peace and conflict constitute the core of the wide-ranging discipline of International Relations. "Global village" is a very prominent concept in this phase of globalization of human settlement on earth, peace becomes one of the bases on which the coexistence , growth, and development of humans as a species exist, most importantly to maintain the balance, natural as well as anthropogenic. The concept of peace has two dimensions namely, "Negative peace" and "Positive Peace". Negative Peace is minimal in nature with defining peace as the absence of large amounts of collective, organized violence between such major human groups as nations, as also between racial and ethnic groups because of the magnitude that can be reached by such conflicts. Absence of violence should not be confused with the absence of conflict; violence may occur without conflict, and conflict may be solved by means of non-violent mechanism. Positive Peace is deeper in nature and is known as a pattern of cooperation and integration between major human groups. These dimensions of peace give rise to fourfold classification 2 of relations between two nations: (1) Warlike relations: organised group violence; (2) negative peace relations: peaceful passive coexistence; (3) positive peace relations: cooperation interspersed with occasional outbreaks of violence; (4) unqualified peace: here absence of violence is combined with a pattern of cooperation. The dimensions of peace and its effect on relations evidently suggest the role social environment being predominant in nature, as we explore the social environment it is essential that we move in the direction of positive peace since negative peace is a condition sine qua non. These two dimensions being logically independent though empirically related provides for independent exploration of positive peace, which the authors want to explore with respect to the social, geographical and political environment as it would provide positive deviance to the reality of human behaviors.

The book covers the following important points i) Investing in stocks can not only be a profitable activity but is also in the nation’s interest, ii) Do become investors but avoid becoming speculators, at least till you have understood the risks associated with the activity, iii) The stock market quotes appearing in the newspapers are the prices at which actual trading has taken place and reveal the opening and closing prices and the intra-day highest and lowest, iv) The forces of demand and supply decide the price of securities that are responsible for the price of most other commodities. This works in every market, v) The stock market index takes a certain number of representative stocks and indicates the price-weighted movement of those stocks with reference to a base year. So when the ‘market’ goes up, the prices of several scrips could also have gone up while the prices of others could have fallen too. Or it could be the other way round, vi) Derivatives are instruments that derive their value from underlying assets. This includes precious metals, commodities, interest rates, currencies, bonds, stocks and stock indices. vii) Insider trading is useful for possession of price-sensitive privileged information. It is important for trade and profit.  The information is used to make private gains or avoid losses, viii) To be successful as an investor you need to understand just two things: a) What to buy and b) When to buy and when to sell. ‘What’ depends on your ability to do fundamental analysis and ‘when’ on your technical analysis skills, ix) Read the balance sheet of the company before investing in it. Ensure the company is not violating the fundamental rules of good finance management and not using short-term funds to acquire long-term assets. The current ratio is in the region of 2:1 and the liquidity ratio is at a minimum of 1:1, x) Do not be misled by the profit in absolute terms. Remember to look at the Earnings Per Share, xi) Do leverage analysis to understand the risk profile of the company before investing in it. High-risk investments can provide the highest returns. Learn to manage risks, xii) Understand the relevance of certain key investment and financial ratios and use them to anticipate future market prices and reach buying/selling decisions, xiii) A quick guide to fundamental analysis: First choose the industry which has promising prospects and then choose the company. To decide which scrip to purchase ensure, a) The sales graph is rising. b) The gross profit is rising at least at the same pace as the increase in sales, c) The net profit is rising at a faster percentage, d) The EPS is above the industry average, e) The PE ratio is below the industry average. xiv) Never buy in a rising market, never sell in a falling market. If you plot a graph of the price movement, you will be able to observe the trend. In a rising trend there will be intermittent downs and in a falling trend there will be periodic upswings. The trend is considered as rising if successive tops and bottoms are higher than earlier. The trend is considered as falling if each successive top and through is lower than the previous one, xv) When you invest, first decide the loss you are willing to bear. Thereafter, at each rise sell some holdings and at every fail, buy back, xvi) Use technical analysis to decide the timing of your trades. Buy at the second rise; sell on the second fall, xvii) Keep profits open-ended and put a stop-loss, not the reverse, as many investors do, xviii) Two phrases do not exist in the stock market lexicon: 1. Maximum profit. 2. Minimum loss. The time to make a profit or loss is NOW, xix) You must also remember that there is no place for monogamy in the stock market. ‘Flirt with many and marry several’ is the mantra for happiness here, xx) In the stock market, you must not be too risk-averse. If you want your investment to be absolutely safe, invest elsewhere. When you choose investments on grounds of safety rather than returns, safety is never guaranteed, but the mediocrity of returns is, xxi) Don’t spread your portfolio too thin. It should preferably have less than ten scrips.
