Caught sleeping and need to fake waking up to hide it?

  2. Once you become "conscious," put your hands up behind your head or to your cheeks and take in a deep breath with your nose only. Upon letting air out, groan some more.
  3. Eventually, open your eyes wide and either lay there on your back/sit up in bed/or sit on the edge of the bed with your head down for about a minute.
  4. To really fool them, put a tiny bit of black eye shadow under your eyes. This will prove that you "just woke up".
  5. Pretend to "light sleep".
    1. If someone woke you up at 6:00 in the morning, go to bed a little bit earlier to teach them not to wake you up so early (at least not on school days.)

  • If someone doesn't believe you slept, reassure them by saying you didn't have a great sleep - tossing and turning all night, uncomfortable mattress, etc.
  • Don't do this a lot, depending on the parents, they might ban TV until the sleep problem has resolved, or they might think you need to be taken to a doctor to diagnose the cause of sleepiness, or they might ask you to talk about your problems(you might do this because of stress.)
  • It's also sometimes good to ask what time it is, especially if there aren't any clocks around.
