FREE CROCHET PATTERN
SKILLS/TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS PATTERN:
• Chains, single and double crochet stitches.
• Working through back and front loops.
• Working flat without turning and changing colors every
row.
• Working in the round and working 2 rows below.
• Surface slip stitches and standing stitches.

STITCH GUIDE
Standing Double Crochet (standing dc): With slip knot on
hook, yo and insert hook in indicated st/sp and pull up a loop,

Front loop Only Double Crochet (fldc): Yo, insert hook in

ending with (dc, ch 2), join with sl st to beg ch-3. Fasten off C2.

Turn Blanket so that RS is facing.

Working through both thicknesses, join C2 with a standing sc in


any corner ch-2 sp.
Joining Rnd: Working through inner loops, *sc across to ch-2 sp,
(sc, ch 2, sc), in ch-2 sp; rep from * 2 more times, sc in each rem st,
(joining Rnd 3 tog with Rnd 3 and encasing all loose ends within
the Double-sided border), sc, ch-2, join with a sl st to first sc. Fas-
ten off. Weave in ends.
