About forming the group, choosing the leader and the topic of E4 project
The meeting was held at 8 pm on 20th February 2025.

- The purpose of the E4 project were briefly discussed, highlighting important parts
and notable points.

- The group discussed the qualities and responsibilities of a project leader.
- A vote was held to determine the project leader.
After a brief discussion or voting process, Nguyen Hoang Lam was selected as the
group leader with 5 votes.

- The project leader outlined the initial steps and timeline for the project.
- The group agreed to schedule regular meetings to discuss progress and handle any
problem.

About choosing the type of business
The meeting was held at 8 pm on 1th March 2025.

1. Obligations of individuals
At first, members were asked by the leader to come up with a business idea. Then, all
members discussed it together. Each person’s ideas are as follows:
- Nguyen Hoang Lam gave a topic : Start up a handmade flower shop.
- Nguyen Viet Linh gave a topic : A coffee shop business.
- Tran Khanh Linh gave a topic : A small family restaurant.
- Tran Nam Phuc gave a topic : Business about dance studio
- Nguyen Tran Tuan Huy gave a topic : Business about selling paper bag
- Nguyen Viet Linh gave a topic : Startup a charity organization
Each member’s ideas were kind of fantastic and interesting. However, the ideas of
Linh, Phuc and Huy are may be a bit difficult because all of us didn’t have much
experience and knowledge to do those type of business.
After about 1 hour of discussion about pros and cons, the whole team had final two
options : Start up a handmade flower shop or A cofee shop business. To make a
decision, the leader Hoang Lam created a vote on Google meet. Each member chose
one of the two ideas. The vote results were 5 members chose “ A coffee shop business
” Therefore, my team decided to plan on starting up a coffee shop business.

All members were proactive in coming up with business ideas.
The discussion achieved our group’s final decision.

About market and competitor research; sales and marketing strategy
The meeting was held at 8 pm on 5th March 2025.

1. Obligations and individuals:
Each member gives an opinion on sales and marketing strategy and market
research methods.
6/6 members give an opinion about the SWOT method to research the market.
All members research sales and marketing strategy.
Phuc suggested that we should build a youthful and premium brand.
Linh commented that brands that follow modern trends are too common. Thang
suggested that the brand should be built in a traditional direction, imbued with
Vietnamese culture. This will create a contrast between cheap coffee and
luxury, helping to attract more class of customers.
All members agree with Thang’s opinion.

We choose the method to market and competitor research is SWOT; sales and
marketing strategy is build a modern bakery but imbued with Vietnamese culture.

About completing the project
The meeting was held at 8 pm on 18th March 2025.

1. Check the project content one last time.
Members check the content, the number of words, grammar… and finally
check the vocabulary and images of the plan.
The group leader requires members to send group work schedules, meeting
minutes, achievement reports... and checks if they meet the requirements or not.
All members are directed to edit the images on Canva and arrange the articles
in the correct and complete order
2. Summarize all contributions of each members
Duc Thang: “The whole group did really well on the project. Although during
the time completing assignments, some members had an argument with each
other, we still handled it and solved the problems quickly.”
Nam Phuc : “I think we can learn how to control emotions and find out the
solutions easily.”
All members agree with Phuc’s opinions.
The team leader allows members to evaluate each other and complete editing of
achievement reports.

The whole group will resend the edited article with all 4 parts as requested on
March 23th , 2025.
