BARANGAY ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF PIGGERY/PIG PEN
WITHIN THE BARANGAY COMMUNITY OF DANAC EAST, BOLINEY, ABRA
ARTICLE I. TITLE. – This Barangay Ordinance shall be known as, “BARANGAY ORDINANCE
REGULATING THE OPERATION OF PIGGERY/PIG PEN WITHIN THE BARANGAY COMMUNITY”
ARTICLE II: Provisions. – Under this Barangay Ordinance, the following provisions shall be enacted:
Section 1. Piggery/Pigpen are Prohibited near Creeks. There shall be no
Section 2. Strengthening the Implementation of Some Identified EO No. 05 Provision. To
strengthen its implementation in the barangay level, any violation of the
following EO provisions shall be penalize accordingly:
a. Wearing of Face Masks and Face Shields. A violation to this provision shall
be penalize in the following manner:
1. Any person found NOT wearing Face Mask/Face Shield, especially Mass
gathering (special occasions) during the prescribed GCQ period shall be
penalized in the amount of P20.00/person. Churches found not
adhering to this provision shall be penalized in the amount of P100.00.
b. Physical Distancing. Physical Distancing in any mass gathering (like Sunday
Services) shall be observed. A violation to this shall be penalized as follows:
1. First Offense: P500.00
2. Second Offense: P1,000.00
3. Third Offense: P1, 500.00
c. Curfew Hours. The barangay shall implement the prescribed curfew hours in
the Provincial EO no. 05, series of 2021, section 5. Violation to this provision
shall be penalized as follows:
1. First Offense - P50.00 per individual.
2. Second Offense – 3 Hours community service.
3. Third Offense - 6 hours community service.
d. Liquor Regulation. Any person under the influence of intoxicating
beverages/Hard liquor and caused public disturbance in the community shall
be penalized as follows:
1. First Offense – P500.00
2. Second Offenses – P1,000.00 plus 4 Hours community service
3. Third Offense – P1, 500.00 plus 8 hours community service

4. In any case of physical injury, property damages (public or private),
intimidation or threats caused by any person under the influence of
intoxicating beverages/liquor shall be settled by the Barangay Lupon
using Customary Laws.
Section 3. SEPARABILITY. In any event that any provision of this ordinance or any part
hereof is declared invalid, contrary to law, moral, customs, or unconstitutional, the
provisions not thereby affected shall remain in force and effect.
ARTICLE III: EFFECTIVITY. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval by the
Sangguniang Barangay and after public meeting and consultation.
