The antagonist surprised me.
But the ending battle removed was a bit mean to your readers.
Also missed an opportunity for character conflict between Daniel and protagonist by not exploring resentment toward his killer. Why is he not feeling betrayed? - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5

Cosy urban fantasy romance with an FMC in her 40's. Spice free with a bit of a love triangle. Pretty soft magic system and easy listening.2 people found this helpful
