Considerado por muchos la cúspide del realismo y figura imprescindible en la literatura universal, Tolstoi se vale de sus escritos y obras para analizar impasiblemente a la autocracia rusa y las bases que la sustentan a partir de su búsqueda por el perfeccionamiento moral y la Verdad y por su anhelo por un orden social justo. Posteriormente sus ideas serán puestas a crítica por Lenin así como su figura ensalzada en todo el mundo.

El documento en cuestión es un TFG [Trabajo de Fin de Grado] ya defendido y calificado en la convocatoria de junio de 2018 en la Universidad de Oviedo (España) que trata la cuestión del papel que jugaron los bolcheviques en la Revolución rusa (1905-1917) sus orígenes, y su evolución posterior una vez se hicieron con el poder a partir de octubre de 1917.

This document is a TFG [in Spanish university system an "end of degree project"] already defended and passed in the call of June 2018 in the University of Oviedo (Spain) that deals with the question of the role played by the Bolsheviks in the Russian Revolution (1905-1917) their origins, and their subsequent evolution once they took power from October 1917.

This essay will discuss each factor, which were largely of domestic origin, to determine their significance for the fall of the Russian Imperial regime. Political causes include the crisis of autocracy and oppression, social causes cover industrialisation and radicalisation that accompanied it, and economic causes refer to Russia’s largely backward, and predominant agrarian economy. This essay contends that, Imperial Russia’s limited capacity to modernise and resolve its internal issues, led to its downfall; however, no single factor is fully responsible for the fall of the imperial regime, but that a combined interplay decidedly contributed to the resultant revolution.

The Kremlin has been giving preference to a Soviet-lite nostalgia that denounces the 1917 Bolshevik revolution but celebrates the birth of a powerful Soviet Union able to bring the country to the forefront of the international scene after the victory in World War II. Yet in parallel, another historical narrative has gradually consolidated on the Russian public scene, one that favours the opposite camp, namely the White movement and the pro-tsarist groups defeated in the early 1920s. This book offers the first comprehensive exploration of this 'White Revenge', looking at the different actors who promote a White and pro-Romanov rehabilitation agenda in the political, ideological and cultural arenas and what this historical agenda might mean for Russia, both today and tomorrow.

1930’lu yıllarda Türkistan’da Sovyetler tarafından gerçekleştirilen “Kızıl Terör/komünist olmayanların tasfiyesi” hareketinde hayatını kaybeden binlerce aydından biri olan ceditçi Maşrık Yunusov (Elbek), dil, edebiyat, folklor, Türkoloji, matbuat, tercüme ve eğitim alanlarında faaliyet göstermiştir. Elbek, hem Çarlık hem de Sovyet Rusya dönemlerinde Türkistan halkının çektiği maddî, manevî sıkıntılara ve zulümlere şahit olmuştur. Elbek, vatanı Türkistan’ın ve milletinin hürriyeti için mücadele etmiş, sömürgeciliğe ve işgale karşı ileri görüşlü fikirleriyle karşı çıkmıştır.
Elbek’in millî dil konusundaki görüşleri eserlerine yansımıştır. Meselâ Elbek, Sovyet hükûmeti ve yerli yaltakçıları tarafından kendi tabiriyle “bülbülün nağmesi kadar hoş olan Türkçeye” karşı yapılan aşağılama ve ortadan kaldırma politikalarına “Til” adlı şiirini yazarak büyük bir cesaretle karşı koymuştur. Elbek, bu şiirinde ana diline saldıranlara karşı Türkçenin dünya dilleri arasında en güzel, en zengin ve tarihî dillerden biri olduğunu haykırmış, Türkçeye düşman olanlar her ne kadar bu dili hor görseler de onun güzelliğinin kaybolmayacağını vurgulamıştır. Ayrıca o, ülküdaşlarıyla birlikte Türk halkları arasında ortak Türkçe meydana getirme konusunda da çalışmalar yapmıştır.

The colonial military-political and socio-economic policy pursued by the tsarist regime in Azerbaijan after the occupation of the northern lands of Azerbaijan, as well as resettlement, as well as employment, participation in socio-cultural life and other related issues in Azerbaijan during the Soviet era and independence. The first part deals with the process of occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Tsarist Russia, and the second part deals with the policy pursued by the Russians here after the occupation, the system of military administration and the establishment of commandant's rule.

The research is devoted to the coverage of the problem of the national liberation struggle of Ukrainians and Finns in the period of the active tsarists' policy of Russification in national regions of the Russian Empire by the example of two underground organizations - the "Taras Fraternity" and the "Kagaali" movement. Also, the essence of their ideological platforms was determined. The research has studied the contribution of the leaders of these organizations to the process of politicizing the national liberation struggle of Ukrainians and Finns on the eve of the first Russian revolution (1905-1907). The author offers a comparative analysis of the activities of the "Taras Fraternity" in Naddnipryanshchyna and the "Kagaali" movement in the Grand Duchy of Finland. For the first time in Ukraine, an essential definition was made not only of the ideological platform of the organizations studied but also of their practical application against the tsarism.
