Many companies are following and adapting the technological developments in communication area, with high percentage usage ratios of web page and mobile applications based services, even as linking them on the social media channels. Besides, internet usage and social media has been appeared out as an important channel in every sector. Tourism sector is one of the top sectors in this sense and it is adapting these new social media channel and technological communication tools. Almost, every tourism companies in Turkey are updating themselves for catching the new wave. Impressively, internet framework covering the mobile communication is very powerful in Turkey relative to other emerging economies. Moreover, there are not sufficient data which examine the social media effect on the marketing power in Turkey. But, it has become a necessity to analyze social media’s role in the manner of marketing and the effects on sales in tourism sector. Another question also appears: Which social media channel
is preferred for the marketing efforts in Turkey or which channels are used by companies for CRM based efforts? Mainly,
research, tries to examine the social media and electronic communication effect on marketing in tourism sector. Research method is based on qualitative method and data will be collected from hotel managers. Hotels will be selected from Istanbul Hotels in Turkey. The research will describe the framework of social media and electronic communication usage for the marketing purpose of tourism sector in Turkey that gives acceleration to tourism companies in the manner of benchmarking and road mapping for their future efforts.

Altmetric Attention Score (AAS) is an increasingly popular composite altmetric measure, which is being criticized for an inappropriate and arbitrary aggregation of different altmetric sources into a single measure. We examined this issue empirically, by testing unidimensionality and the component structure congruence of the five ‘key’ AAS components: News, Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. As a reference point, these tests were also done on different citation data: WoS, Scopus, and Google Scholar. All tests were done for groups of articles with: (1) high citations, but lower AAS (HCGs), and (2) high AAS, but lower citations (HAGs). Changes in component structures over time (from 2016 to 2017) were also considered. Citation data consistently formed congruent unidimensional structures for all groups and over time. Altmetric data formed congruent unidimensional structures only for the HCGs, with much inconsistency for the HAGs (including change over time). The relationship between Twitter and News counts was shown to be curvilinear. It was not possible to obtain a satisfactory congruent and reliable linear unidimensional altmetric structure between the groups for any variable combination, even after Mendeley and CiteULike altmetric counts were included. Correlations of altmetric aggregates and citations were fairly inconsistent between the groups. We advise against the usage of composite altmetric measures (including the AAS) for any group comparison purposes, until the measurement invariance issues are dealt with. The underlying pattern of associations between individual altmetrics is likely too complex and inconsistent across conditions to justify them being simply aggregated into a single score.

MOOCs are more than an online course. They have a different and specific characteristics. This leads to his teaching should be improved and supplemented with concepts like knowledge management and non-formal and social learning. This paper discusses a learning community belonging to a MOOC course with different editions emphasis during periods in which no progress, and therefore there is not a guided learning, detecting the behavior of its members and comparing periods of course. The keys to success in this type of communities that are based on non-formal conception and enhance informal interactions are sought.

El artículo presenta los resultados de la investigación “usos de la red social Google Plus, en una experiencia de enseñanza y aprendizaje de educación universitaria”; el enfoque fue interpretativo, basado en un estudio de caso simple. Los hallazgos mostraron que Google Plus se utilizó principalmente con fines comunicativos entre el profesor y el estudiante. Las interacciones que emergieron alrededor de los espacios que proporciona, tales como chats, comunidades, el mensajero, los hangouts, entre otros, estuvieron relacionadas específicamente con explicaciones, recordatorios, indicaciones, recomendaciones, acuerdos y la motivación; otras enfatizaron en la expresión de sentimientos, emociones, aficiones e intereses.

Τάση της σύγχρονης συμβουλευτικής –σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο– αποτελεί η διαδι-κτυακή συμβουλευτική, στην οποία γίνεται προσπάθεια ένταξης και αξιοποίησης των Τε-χνολογιών Πληροφορικής και Επικοινωνιών (ΤΠΕ). Το γεγονός αυτό είχε ως αποτέλεσμα τη δημιουργία μίας νέας μορφής συμβουλευτικής, όπου καταργούνται οι χωροχρονικοί περιορισμοί, αλλά και κοινωνικές διακρίσεις.
Δείκτες επιτυχίας των συστημάτων που μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν στη διαδι-κτυακή συμβουλευτική, σύμφωνα με το Μοντέλο Αποδοχής Τεχνολογίας (Technology Ac-ceptance Model – TAM), αποτελούν η αντιληπτή ευκολία χρήσης (Perceived Ease of Use), καθώς και η αντιληπτή χρησιμότητα (Perceived Usefulness) και σύμφωνα με το Μοντέλο Συνέχισης Πληροφοριακών Συστημάτων (Expectation-Confirmation Model of IS Continu-ance) η ικανοποίηση (Satisfaction), η επιβεβαίωση των προσδοκιών (Confirmation) και η πρόθεση συνέχισης χρήσης (Information System Continuance Intention).
Η παρούσα εργασία αποσκοπεί αφενός στην προσαρμογή των δομών του Μοντέλου Αποδοχής Τεχνολογίας (α) αντιληπτή ευκολία χρήσης και (β) αντιληπτή χρησιμότητα κα-θώς και των δομών του Μοντέλου Συνέχισης Πληροφοριακών Συστημάτων (γ) ικανοποίη-ση, (δ) επιβεβαίωση προσδοκιών και (ε) πρόθεση συνέχισης χρήσης για τα ηλεκτρονικά μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης και αφετέρου στην εφαρμογή των τροποποιημένων αυτών δομών στα πλαίσια μίας μελέτης περίπτωσης για τον καθορισμό της επιτυχίας του Google+ στη διαδικτυακή συμβουλευτική, μέσω της μέτρησης των πέντε αυτών δομών.
Στην εργασία αυτή πραγματοποιείται μία μελέτη περίπτωσης ηλεκτρονικού μέσου κοινωνικής δικτύωσης στη διαδικτυακή συμβουλευτική. Συγκεκριμένα, καταγράφηκαν οι απόψεις εξήντα επτά (67) ατόμων που ασχολούνται ή ενδεχομένως ασχοληθούν μελλο-ντικά με την καθοδήγηση ομάδας, σε τεθέν ερωτηματολόγιο πενταβάθμιας κλίμακας τύ-που Likert, για την αντιληπτή ευκολία χρήσης, την αντιληπτή χρησιμότητα, την ικανοποί-ηση, την επιβεβαίωση των προσδοκιών και την πρόθεση συνέχισης χρήσης του ηλεκτρο-νικού μέσου κοινωνικής δικτύωσης Google+, μέσο που μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί στη διαδικτυακή καθοδήγηση ομάδας.
Από την ενεργηθείσα επιβεβαιωτική παραγοντική ανάλυση προέκυψε ότι οι ερωτή-σεις του ερωτηματολογίου που τέθηκαν πράγματι ανταποκρίνονται στους πέντε (5) πα-ράγοντες του προτεινόμενου ερευνητικού μοντέλου
Η πλειοψηφία των ερωτηθέντων θεωρούν ότι το συγκεκριμένο ηλεκτρονικό μέσο κοινωνικής δικτύωσης χαρακτηρίζεται από ευκολία χρήσης και χρησιμότητα, προσφέρει ικανοποίηση και επιβεβαίωση των προσδοκιών και προτίθενται να το χρησιμοποιήσουν μελλοντικά για την διαδικτυακή καθοδήγηση ομάδας.
Ωστόσο, ένα μικρό ποσοστό των ερωτηθέντων δεν αναγνωρίζει ότι το ηλεκτρονικό αυτό μέσο δε διαθέτει τα πιο πάνω χαρακτηριστικά. Το φαινόμενο αυτό μπορεί να οφεί-λεται είτε στην έλλειψη απαραίτητης εξοικείωσης των ερωτηθέντων με τις Τεχνολογίες Πληροφορικής και Επικοινωνιών είτε στην έλλειψη ευκολίας χρήσης και χρησιμότητας του συγκεκριμένου μέσου. Γι’ αυτό και επιβάλλεται να γίνει περαιτέρω διερεύνηση των βαθύτερων αιτιών του παρατηρούμενου φαινομένου και, ειδικότερα, των ανασχετικών εκείνων παραγόντων που συντείνουν στην ύπαρξη του φαινομένου αυτού.

Pre-service teachers are expected to use new technologies such as Google+ which facilitates contacting, sharing in certain environments and working collaboratively with the help of cloud support in their lessons effectively.
This study aims  to examine pre-service teachers’ opinions regarding  the use of Google+ to support lesson activities. In this study the data was collected using semi-structured  interview techniques carried out with preservice  teachers (n=15) chosen by purposeful sampling. The purposes of using Google+ were sharing, chatting and communication, whereas Google Docs was mostly used for its efficiency, interaction, the prudential purpose
of use and to support teaching. When the views of the pre-service teachers regarding the use of Google+ were examined it was found that interface being thought to be more complex than other social networks affected the teachers’ first impressions negatively. As the negative first impression towards Google+ changed in time, it was stated to have provided a number of teaching opportunities. Some suggestions regarding the opportunities
Google+ offers were also made.
