Associated with equality of access to education, religious-affiliated universities, especially the Buddhist universities (PTAB), has a major role in preserving the community's desire to obtain a higher education through direct participation in the community. Through community participation and the Sangha, Kertarajasa present in its efforts to improve the training of Buddhism ethics, moral, and spiritual in Indonesia, especially in East Java. However, not only material aid that is needed, but rather an increase in student motivation was also essential in developing the quality of education. This paper will discuss the aspects of what's included in the community participation in education and how the participation process was run as the perspective of the alumni and stakeholders from the Kertarajasa Buddhist College (Sekolah Tinggi Agama Buddha Kertarajasa - STABK). Abstract On addressing the educational equality, religious affiliated colleges, especially Buddhist College, play a large role in sustaining the community desire to get further and higher education through direct participation in the community. By participation of Sangha and the community, the existence of Kertarajasa Buddhist College is an attempt to improve the coaching ethics, moral, and spiritual Buddhist Indonesia and East Java particular. By focusing on Kertarajasa Buddhist College and using qualitative research through depth interviews and direct participant observation as a teacher of the College, this paper discusses the aspects of what's included in community participation in education and how the process took place as seen especially through the perspective of the (alumnae) students and the stake holders of the College. The Ministry of Education and Culture's policy on “Merdeka Belajar” (Freedom of Learning) seeks to enable students to master different valuable disciplines to access the work field (link and match). This article investigates Freedom of Learning policy direction and unpacks freedom of learning from the viewpoint of prophetic education theory. This research employs a literature review process. The information was gathered by studying the Ministry of Education and Culture legislation and laws, literature, and compiled references of the policy. The findings suggested that the Freedom of Learning policy's trajectory accommodates data in the material domains (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor), yet it lacked spirituality. The principle of prophetic education is to move humans to be decent (righteous), to achieve the great humans (insān kāmil), and to improve (muṣliḥ) the world into an ideal environment or society (khaira ummah) capable of bridging the gap the means. This research is important because many Islamic educational institutions had low standard quality and even stopped their activities because of weak education funding, including in the realm of financial planning. The Academic Integrity of Buddhist College Students in IndonesiaThis study was a descriptive research with the quantitative approach which aimed to describe the academic integrity of the Buddhist college students in Indonesia. This study used 224 students who selected using proportionate cluster sampling. The data were collected using the academic integrity questionnaire with five dimensions, namely honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility. The questionnaire consisted of 39 items with a Likert modification scale (four options). The result of this study showed that the academic integrity of Buddhist College students in Indonesia was supported by the fairness dimension. The academic integrity both of male and female college students were supported by the fairness dimension, and neither was based on the department, the academic integrity both of Dharmacarya and Dharmaduta students were supported by the fairness dimension.
