Accessibility

This site currently has the following accessibility features in place:

• Mobile-responsive layout
• Automatic light & dark mode on most pages
  • Theme can be manually swapped on some pages (I'm working on adding this throughout the site)
• Text contrast passes the WebAIM colour contrast checker
• Alt text for non-decorative images
• Semantic HTML
• Keyboard navigable
• Text can be scaled freely
• Large blocks of GIFs can be paused (requires Javascript)
• Flashing and blinking GIFs are warned for (in case the Javascript fails)
• Content warnings for my writing as appropriate
• No autoplay!!! Autoplay is the devil

If any of these features are not working properly, please contact me so I can fix them.

I would like to eventually add detailed image descriptions to galleries, but it'll take me a bit of time to figure out how to best implement this.

In general, I welcome feedback from disabled and neurodivergent visitors. If there's anything I can do to improve your browsing experience, please let me know! I am a hobbyist developer and always learning new ways to make my site better and my code more robust.
