Al-Quran sebagai kitab suci umat Islam, diturunkan dengan Bahasa Arab (perlu diingat: Bahasa Arab bukanlah Bahasa Al-Quran). Akan tetapi, Islam tidak hanya untuk orang Arab dan tidak hanya tumbuh di Arab saja, melainkan untuk seluruh umat manusia di berbagai belahan dunia. Lantas bagaimana mereka -orang-orang ''ajm' (non-Arab) memahami Al-Quran? Salah satu upayanya adalah dengan penerjemahan Al-Quran ke dalam berbagai bahasa. Bagaimana hukum penerjemahan Al-Quran? Kapan pertama kali diterjemahkan? dan beberapa hal penting seputar Terjemah Al-Quran/Al-Quran Translating akan dibahas dalam makalah ini.

Ḥadīth is all tradition; speech, action, and resolve, of the Prophet Muhammad, which is used as source of Islam after the Qur'an. For that, we need to know the sciences that makes understanding him, as is ‘Ilm Asbāb Wurūd al-Ḥadīth. It is useful to know the background of the appearance of a ḥadīth—event or issue, what and who is involved in it, is the ḥadīth applies to everyone or most people, is the ḥadīth have eliminate the other ḥadīth, and other functions. Precisely, Ilm Asbāb Wurūd al-Ḥadīth is useful to approach the hadith by the socio-historical side. So that the ḥadīth can be contextualised to a different era.
