図1は、第1実施形態に係る撮像画像交換システム1の全体構成を模式的に示す図である。第1実施形態では、特段の記載がない限り、撮像装置は車両に備えられるものとし、撮像装置を「車載装置」と称して説明する。撮像画像交換システム1は、例えば、複数の車両M-1、M-2、…にそれぞれ搭載される車載装置10と、サーバ装置100とを備える。以下、車両を区別しないときはハイフン以降を省略して表記する。
以下、本発明の第2実施形態について説明する。図6は、第2実施形態に係る車載装置10とサーバ装置100の構成図である。第2実施形態に係るサーバ装置100のサーバ側記憶部140には、登録車両データ144に対して各レコードが対応付けられた登録端末データ146が格納されている。登録端末データ146は、例えば、利用者端末200の電子メールアドレスの集合である。これによって、第2実施形態に係るサーバ装置100は、利用者端末200からのアクセスを待つことなく、画像データを利用者端末200に送信することができる。

以下、本発明の第6実施形態について説明する。第6実施形態では、第4および第5実施形態と同様に、撮像装置は利用者が使用する利用者端末200の一機能として実現され、撮像装置の機能を有する利用者端末200-1を、自装置を操作する利用者U-1とは異なる利用者U-2を撮像するものとして説明する。第6実施形態では、自装置の周辺に他の利用者Uが存在する場合、サーバ装置100との通信を伴って撮像画像をアップロードするか否かを決定するのではなく、自装置の周辺に存在する利用者Uの利用者端末200との間でD2D(Device to Device)通信によって撮像画像をアップロードするか否かを決定する。D2D通信を行うための通信部は、図10に示す通信部230と共通のハードウェアであってもよいし、別のハードウェアであってもよい。
