Abstract
Description
Dekorationselement decorative element
The invention relates to a decorative element with a transparent base plate made of glass or plastic, on the surface of an image, in particular an ornamental structure or painting, is arranged, and a method for its preparation.
There are decorative elements known that are made for example by means of stained glass. The glass base plate is processed with a so-called black solder color. The black solder application dampens the color of the glass more or less. To achieve a permanent fixation, the glasses are fired at 610 ° C.
It is also possible to apply a mirror-inverted painting to the back of a glass plate with opaque colors through which the picture is seen. This technique is called reverse glass painting.
If you want to transfer photographic documents to a transparent base plate, the screen printing technique is suitable. On a framed, tightly stretched sieve, which consists of a fine wire mesh, silk or synthetic fiber, a template is applied, which covers the non-color-bearing parts. Alternatively, such templates can also be generated by exposure of photosensitive screens. The print is made by squeezing a rubber squeegee pasty paint through the open part of the screen onto the underlying print carrier.
The problem with all these decorative elements is that the painting or the printing is often exposed to mechanical stress (scratching, soiling) unfavorable weather conditions and ambient atmospheres (high humidity, air pollution). However, the restoration of such soiled or damaged decorative elements can be very expensive and time consuming. It is therefore an object of the invention to propose a decorative element, which allows greater possibilities in the design and the finished painting is protected on all sides. It is also an object of the invention to propose a corresponding manufacturing method.
This object is achieved in that on one side of the base plate, a first, transparent casting resin layer is applied, on which the image is applied, and on the side facing away from the base plate of the at least one second, transparent casting resin layer is applied to the first cast resin layer, whose side facing away from the first cast resin layer is covered with a cover plate.
The image itself consists of at least a Teilbiid on one, in a preferred case of the embodiment but of several Teilbildem on several successively applied Gießharzschichten. This procedure has the advantage that in the production of the last partial image always the entire, until then manufactured image is present as an original. In practice, this is a serious difference to methods in which several partial images are generated and joined together in a final composite process. By connecting a partial image, the physical properties of a surface such as, in particular, gloss and depth of shade are permanently changed. This can lead to a picture composed of several parts as a whole producing a completely different impression than the sum of the unassembled individual pictures.
The finished image has no direct contact with the atmosphere, so that factors such as air pollution or humidity have no or only a small influence on the image arranged between the casting resin layers. Likewise, the image is protected from mechanical stress by the above-mentioned cover plate.
A preferred embodiment of the decorative element according to the invention provides that the cover plate is transparent, so that the visual impression of the image does not change significantly by the addition of the cover plate.
In a preferred embodiment, the cover plate consists of natural materials such as stone and wood or also of engineered materials such as metal or plastic. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the base plate is transparent or at least translucent. The cover plate and the base plate may for example consist of the same material.
An embodiment of the inventive decorative element provides that the surface of the base and / or the cover plate completely or partially treated and / or the edges of the base and / or cover plate are processed, the surface treatment in particular a matting by sandblasting, chemical etching or Lasers and edge processing in particular include profile, ornament or facet cut. This can be used to achieve intended style effects.
It is advantageous if the first and the second casting resin layer consist of the same material. Thus, an optimal connection of the two casting resin layers is ensured together.
Such casting resins are insensitive to the absorption of moisture. This manifests itself both in a higher resistance of the decorative element under the influence of water and in only a slight clouding of the
Cast resin layers, so that the highest possible transparency can be ensured.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the casting resin layers contain adhesion promoters. Thus, the quality of the bonding of the base and the cover plate can be specifically improved.
It is particularly advantageous if the casting resin layers contain at least one UV absorber. Due to the absorption of UV radiation in the casting resin layer, an impact of UV radiation and thus absorption of the UV radiation in the painting and the resulting damage (discoloration, embrittlement) are avoided. Preferably, colors are used for the image of the decorative element according to the invention, which adhere well to the first Gießharzschicht, harden and do not dissolve in the liquid-coupled casting resin of another Gießharzschicht. This is important because, as described below, the image is applied to the cured first cast resin layer and then coated with the second cast resin layer.
A visually attractive effect results when the colors used for the image are translucent.
Likewise, it is visually appealing if a frame-like insert is provided between the first and the second cast resin layer. An additional framework can then be dispensed with. The shape of the frame can be arbitrary or e.g. have been designed in the context of the image. At the same time, he may well have a partly silhouetted function that complements a painting.
Die rahmenartige Einlage kann beispielsweise Draht, Metall-, Holz-, Glas-, Kunststoff- oder Folienstreifen umfassen. The frame-like insert may include, for example, wire, metal, wood, glass, plastic or foil strips.
Another interesting aspect arises when the edges of the decorative element laterally white or colored light is coupled to illuminate the painting. A global illumination of the image can, for example, by means of LED's can be realized which can be mounted due to its size easily and discreetly. The decorative element can thus be optimally presented even in poorly lit rooms.
Likewise, the base (1) and / or the cover plate (5) may be provided with electrical traces q i which drive a matrix of LEDs v s on the plate which emit white or colored light. This can be realized in a particularly inconspicuous manner by the respective plate locally with optically neutral electrical conductor tracks and a matrix of miniature LED 's is provided. Thus, local areas of the painting or ornaments can be emphasized visually. If colored light emissions are used, optically desired color compositions can also be produced.
Eine besondere Wirkung entfalten dabei transluzente Farben durch deren unterschiedliche räumliche Lage, wodurch eine materielleIn a further embodiment of the decorative element, a plurality of slide elements are arranged on the side of the base plate facing away from the first cast resin layer, each comprising a transparent base plate, on each side of which a transparent casting resin layer is applied with an image, wherein the picture elements are connected flat. The decorative element can then be potted in several layers after the completion of the individual picture elements. This results in a decorative element, in which a plurality of picture elements are arranged one behind the other, that is, in different planes. Translucent colors develop a special effect due to their different spatial position, whereby a material
Mixing of colors prevented, but at the same time a visual color mixing is caused. The spatial impression of the individual paintings or ornaments can also be determined by the layer thicknesses of the casting resins or by the thickness of the base plates used, e.g. Glass plates, can be varied.
It is also conceivable to arrange several pixels side by side and to provide them with a common cover plate. The decorative element then comprises a multi-part base plate, on the parts of which a transparent casting resin layer, each with an image application, is applied and which are covered with a common cover plate.
Likewise, an embodiment is conceivable in which between the image and the cover plate further casting resin layers are arranged, each with a picture order.
Another interesting optical effect is obtained when coated in various casting resins coated parts of a frame-like insert. Different frame parts are then in different levels of the decoration element.
The decorative element according to the invention is preferably produced by means of a process from the following process steps:
A) Aufbringen einer ersten Gießharzschicht auf eine Seite der GrundplatteA) Applying a first cast resin layer on one side of the base plate
B) Aushärten der ersten GießharzschichtB) curing the first casting resin layer
C) Auftragen des Bildes auf die ausgehärtete erste Gießharzschicht D) Aufbringen einer zweiten Gießharzschicht auf der der Grundplatte abgewandten Seite der ersten GießharzschichtC) Applying the image to the cured first cast resin layer D) Applying a second cast resin layer on the side of the first cast resin layer facing away from the base plate
E) Auflegen der DeckplatteE) Placing the cover plate
F) Aushärten der zweiten GießharzschichtF) curing the second casting resin layer
Steps C and D can be repeated one or more times.
In a preferred variant of the method according to the invention, the curing of the first and second cast resin layer takes place thermally or with the irradiation by UV light.
It has proved to be advantageous if the application and curing of the casting resin layers takes place by the following method steps:
A) Applying a dense frame in at least cast resin layer thickness on the base plate (preferably made of acrylate tape) (b) inserting a tensionable release film under the cover plate, whereby a cavity is formed between the base plate and the cover plate or the release film having a ventilation channel

A further variant provides that the application and curing of the casting resin layers takes place by the following method steps:
A) applying a dense frame in at least Gießharzschichtdicke on the base plate, preferably an acrylate tape.
(b) Einbringen der Grundplatte in eine abgeschlossene Kammer mit Inertatmosphäre(B) placing the base plate in a sealed chamber with inert atmosphere
(c) Auftragen eines Gießharzes für die Gießharzschicht auf die Grundplatte,(c) applying a casting resin for the cast resin layer to the base plate,
(d) Aushärten der Gießharzschicht,(d) curing the cast resin layer,
(e) Auftragen eines (Teil)Bildes(e) applying a (part) image
(f) Ev. Wiederholung der Schritte (a), (c), (d) und (e).(f) Ev. Repetition of steps (a), (c), (d) and (e).
(g) Aufbringen der Deckplatte, Injektion der letzten Gießharzschicht (h) Aushärtung der abschließenden Gießharzschicht(g) applying the cover plate, injecting the last cast resin layer (h) curing the final cast resin layer
Es zeigen:After the application of the last casting resin layer, the cover plate is no longer removed but remains on the casting resin layer even after curing. The above-described application of the two casting resin layers between the base and the cover plate results in a dense composite, in the interior of which the image to be protected is embedded. Further advantages of the invention will become apparent from the description and the drawings. Likewise, the features mentioned above and those listed further can be used individually or in any combination. The embodiments shown and described are not to be understood as exhaustive enumeration, but rather have exemplary character for the description of the invention. Show it:

Fig. 1a und Fig. 1b zeigen den schematischen Aufbau eines erfindungsgemäßen Dekorationselements, bei dem eine Grundplatte 1 mit einer erstenFig. 1a and Fig. 1b show the schematic structure of a decorative element according to the invention, in which a base plate 1 with a first
Cast resin layer 2 is provided, on which a picture 3, for example, a painting, is applied. By means of a second casting resin layer 4, the image 3 is connected to a cover plate 5 over a large area. Accordingly, the image 3 is embedded in two casting resin layers 2, 4, so that it is not or only slightly exposed to external influences. This allows optimal protection against adverse atmospheric conditions, mechanical loads and incident UV radiation can be realized.
