- the differences in soot properties have a strong influence on important characteristics of a tire rubber composition, such as abrasion and fatigue. These tests were carried out after vulcanization or hardening of the samples, which were produced at a temperature of 155 ° C. and for a time of tg Q minutes. - the temperature profile for the G * value for the inventive composition is as steep as for regular tread soot.
- the tire tread composition of this invention thus has a high hysteresis at low temperatures and a very low hysteresis at high Temperatures. This allows the defined carbon black to be mixed into a tire tread composition, possibly together with other carbon blacks, so that both the grip is enhanced when the rubber composition is wet and the rolling resistance is reduced at high temperature. This provides an advantageous combination of properties of a carbon black /
